I didn't have time for a meal but was able to get a selection of oysters at $1.00 each since I was there between 4 and 6 on a weekday.

Jack was our server and he was awesome! The food here was so clean, so fresh, and had amazing depth of character. This is a foodies eatery. I had the summer salad with all sorts of amazing goodies on it and a grilled pork chop...that was juicy and layered in flavors over bacon infused kale and grilled potatoes, all topped with a drizzle of summer fruit compote. WOW!! We also had the peach cobbler which was perfect blend of crispy and moist biscuit and very peachy but not sugary peaches. So good! Great sangria and other cocktails as well to accompany any dish.More

We ate at the bristol oyster bar our first night in bristol. We had made other dinner reservations for the other days we would be there. Our meal was superb, and the servers were professional, friendly and helpful. We had lunch at another restaurant with...good reviews as well as others, and we cancelled all our dinner reservations and at again at bristol oyster bar as the other restaurants were mediocre in comparison.More

We have traveled across the world in search of the best oysters but we keep coming home to our Rhode Island, and in particular this Bristol Oyster Bar, to enjoy the very best. Last night we enjoyed their Wednesday buck-a-shuck, as we try to do...weekly, then comparing 4 different types (they often have up to 7!) for their brine, sweetness, size, and texture. Tough to rank, for all were delicious. To top it off, their staff is attentive, thoughtful, and shuck like pros. Katie is herself the most wonderful of welcomers and servers. Shows good management to place her so prominently.More

Great spot in Bristol for food especially oysters. Nice outdoor patio as well. The service is exceptional and draft beer selection is great.

We were looking for outside dining at a place that had heaters The BOB met the criteria and it ok but still chilly at 61 degrees and windy. Note they have buck a shuck 4:00 to 6:00 Monday through Thursday

We ate at BOB on Sunday night, Labor Day weekend. Beautiful drive from Newport, especially enjoyed the view over the bridge into town. Our server Kat was fantastic, super friendly and attentive. We started with two each of the six available locally farmed oyster offerings....Scarfed those down, felt two of the varieties were particularly good, so we ordered four more of each. Simply stunning tastes of the sea. The calamari and chowder were excellent apps. I had two apps for my entree - the pork belly was fantastic and the crab cake was good. My kids raved about their short rib sandwich and the NY strip steak. My wife had a beautiful salad and the fish tacos. One each of the three desserts - the macerated peaches on sweet biscuit with cream were excellent. Great wine list and cocktail selection. It's nice to eat at a restaurant running on all cylinders - well done.More
