We were looking for a nice alternative to the wonderful seafood that we were experiencing in Bristol and found Leo's. Dining early, we were greeted by a wonderful waiter and taken to our table. His explanation of the menu, answers to our questions thorough and...recommendations excellent. The veal saltimboca was the best veal dish I have ever had-tender, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We were not rushed, had a most delightful dining experience and pleasantly surprised that the bill was less than expected. We definitely will come back for more.More

Wife and I picked a perfect early summer day for lunch, outdoors, at Leo's Ristorante. The staff was friendly, we did not have to wait long for drinks/apps/food and that food was delicious! At every restaurant I try the chicken-broccoli-alfredo dish, and Leo's version did...not disappoint - it was excellent! Wife also loved her chicken piccata. We will be back in Bristol this summer at least two more times, and we'll be back at Leo's.More

My mother and I were in Bristol to celebrate the Fourth of July and it’s festivities… We passed by Leo’s and saw sign outside where their feature drink was a fire cracker… After attending a town concert we decided to go back to Leo’s and...try the fire cracker and what we got was a fantastic experience… We had the sweetest funniest waitress… Some of the best Italian food I have eaten… And then the drink was not only Fun and colorful… But it was very tasty as well! We had so much fun we frequented that restaurant three times while we were in town and we were never disappointed all 3 times! I highly recommend Leo’s!More

Very disappointing. Service was good but pizza bases clearly pre-made and not cooked in a pizza oven. Pasta dish was inedible.

EVERYTHING on Leo''s menu is delicious. I find it hard to decide which of the fabulous meals to choose. My favorite is the Pasta all Caterina. Wonderful pesto pasta and veggies. But everything is great. The specialty cocktails are fun and delicious. And the desserts...are very good. The tiramisu is one of my favorites. Definitely recommend Leo's to all your friends.More

I recently went to Leo's with my grandson for dinner. I hadn't been there in quite some time and was very much looking forward to the delicious food I remember. Especially my favorite, Aunt Vick's Chicken Soup. My grandson ordered the ravioli with meatballs and...I, or course, ordered a bowl of Aunt Vick's Chicken Soup. A bowl of that soup with some bread was always enough of a meal for me. Boy have things changed! What I got was basically a lukewarm bowl of WATER! The soup had a small slice of chicken, three small meatballs (yes I counted) and very little Acini de Pepe. If I poured the water out there would be nothing left! And when I say water I mean water! It wasn't even a broth. $7 for a bowl of basically nothing. In addition my grandson only ate a small amount of his Ravioli because he said the edges were hard. Definitely frozen ravioli, not fresh. $19.50 for some frozen ravioli with two meatballs! To top it off they charged us for a refill on a glass of soda! Soda mind you! What kind of family friendly Italian restaurant does that? At other restaurants in town $35 has gotten me two pasta dishes and an appetizer. I know times are tough but geez! The only positive was our server. She was friendly and attentive. Needless to say we won't be coming back.More

First things first…. When you make a reservation they tell you if you are 15 minutes late they will give away your table AND charge you $10 per person!! Next, there were maybe 2 other tables the whole night so no idea why they have...the reservation charge. Next… the food! Sorry but not good. The “Antipasto “ is really just a salad with a very thin topping of salami, olives, cheese NOT the traditional Antipasto plate. Other foods we tried and were not impressed…the eggplant parmigiana: tasted like frozen, lasagna: tasted like frozen, stuffed clams: didn’t seem fresh. I could go on but no one at our table was impressed and we took most of the food home and sadly later tossed. On a positive note, our waitress Morgan was fabulous and friendly. I honestly would not go back. After reading the reviews for Leo’s left by others we were so looking forward to a fabulous Italian dinner. Not sure where the other reviewers ate, but not at the restaurant we ate at! Lastly this place ain’t cheap so another reason I would not go back. I will continue to explore other restaurants in Bristol as there are many. Trust me, skip Leo’s.More

My wife and I are new to Bristol and decided to check out Leo's and we are glad we did. The waiter Brian was outstanding, very professional, polite and outgoing and more importantly was very attentive and took the time with our many questions of...the menu. I had the chicken parm on Brian's suggestion and the wife had the shrimp scampi. Both were plentiful and cooked to perfection. Prices on both were very reasonable. We are sold on Leo's and will definately become regulars.More

This week I had a large group of family and friends join us at Leo's. I received so many compliments on the food, wait staff and cozy atmosphere. Paul did an amazing job, even making my husband's favorite dessert for all of us, which was...such a nice touch. It was everything I had hoped for. Kudos to all of you, I am never disappointed. We didn't have reservations. This was a beautiful, busy Saturday night. We really wnted to try Leo's. We put our name in and walked around for 45 minutes. We are glad we waited, and came back. It was our daughter's 24th birthday and we are...so happy we celebrated it at Leo's. We ache had a different dish and all four were delicious. At one point I looked up at my son's plate and it was clean, Rigatoni, Broccolli and Chicken, all gone. My Penne and Meatballs wasn't far behind. Chicken Parm was a unique rendition, and excellent, along with the bake scrod. We will be back, many times I am sure.More

We have been to Leo’s Ristorante in Bristol many times over the years. We drive all the way out from west central Mass to enjoy Paul Mancieri’s street side dining in historical Bristol. The Hope Street location (since 200) gives the dinner a ring side...seat for the wonderful promenade that takes place everyday as locals walk the streets inhaling the wonderful sea air only yards away. We have always liked Leo’s but he has really taken the reins of the place and made it his own. With food based Grandmother Virginia’s original recipes, with a touch of his own magic, gives you a taste of the place when it opened up on State Street in 1948. We like to have the calamari with marinara sauce and peppers - Bene! All the pizza is great and the arancini are wonderful. It is Paul’s adherence to the Italian style of just enough ingredients that kept this place alive during the pandemic as a home for the local dinners and take out that will keep it here for years to come. Come by and enjoy Red Sangria and enjoy the street view.More
