The place is usually busy with locals (always a good sign) so some patience is helpful but they efficiently turn over the tables both inside and out and the quality of the food is worth the effort.

RUDE STAFF with Good Food

My family went here after Church on Easter, granted they were busy, but the staff was very rude to us. There was a long line so I went upstairs first to see if there would be a table for five people, there was a nice...employee upstairs who said she would push two tables together for us, so I agreed and went back downstairs to order. The girls working behind the counter said I was not allowed to go upstairs and save seats, (even though the lady upstairs had already agreed to put two tables together for me). The lady behind the counter continued to treat me rude, telling me to wait at the end of the line, asking several times for the customers to shut their front door etc. There was a guy behind me who heard all of this and asked me did he hear this correctly and I said yes, and he a had a large group with him and they decided to leave. After I ordered I was told to wait downstairs for my drinks which I did, they placed my coffee on the counter and just let it sit there, never asked or told me it was there. Meanwhile the girl taking my order asked If I wanted to leave a Tip and I said no because I was not being treated with good customer service. I heard the lady behind the register go back in the kitchen and say loudly "Can you believe this guy just spent $80.00 on Easter and didn't Tip us"? I was treated so poorly downstairs I was in no mood to leave a Tip before I was served any food. However, I eventually did leave a tip on the table upstairs because the one girl cleaning tables upstairs was nice. Conclusion, good food with TERRIBLE SERVICE!! PS to the owners of this establishment, you need to do some Customer Service training with your staff ASAP before you lose more business!More

Really great food

Fabulous breakfast sandwiches. Was visiting my college kids at RWU and ended up eating here last minute. The food is really great and lots of healthy options. We even went back the next day. Highly recommend this place.

Great little lunch spot

Lunch here was absolutely delicious. We ate a variety of foods- soups, sandwiches etc and everyone truly enjoyed their choices. The menu is vast, so even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy it. Tiny little place off the beaten path but definitely worth it.

Small but Charming place.

We were looking for place to eat late in the day and our daughter recommended this place. The staff was very friendly and the food was really, really good. Reminded us of a place in New Paltz, NY that also has great food. I had...a Black Bean Burger, my wife had a grilled cheese and my daughter had an omelet. Loved the food, loved the staff, loved the view. Come here and be satisfied.More

Fun and great food

Delicious flax seed bread and cornbread squash breakfast choice. Ricotta pancakes, we're a hit, too. Loved the unique way they located our tables to serve us. Nice view on the outdoor upstairs balcony.

Excellent Food Strange Rule regarding tables

There were five of us for lunch. We wanted to eat at a table but were unsure whether one wld be available to accommodate all of us when our orders were ready . We ordered Take Our and planned to eat at nearby Independence Park...if there was no open table. After picking up our order, there was an outside table with five chairs so we sat down but were quickly told it was for patrons who had ordered their meals to eat in. We all tipped the same as if we were ordering to stay so WHAT is the issue???More

Rude

Good food but very rude staff. As a first time visitor, there was no assistance as to what was even available! She interrupted me 4 times while I was asking questions or trying to order, yelling to other staff. Good thing I was hungry or...I would have leftMore

A Great Place to Eat Right at the End of the Bike Path

We finished biking from Providence to Bristol and happened upon the Beehive Cafe. The food was amazing! Super fresh and so many vegetarian options ... don't skip the sweets in the front case which are just as good! It was a great place to sit...and enjoy a meal before heading back on our bikes.More
