We sat in the deck and there was a relaxed ambience with a cute view. We both ordered the Dublin Pot Pie and it was tremendous! Service was excellent, parking was free and close. Really enjoyed this dinner!

What a pleasant surprise! Stopped in for lunch while just sight seeing. Figured it was going to be just typical pub fare but were so glad we stopped. Our waitress Gemma couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating! Had a delicious chicken sandwich and some...yummy Guinness drafts.More

Visited Sunday night sat outside. We ordered drinks from a young server. Was texting a friend a photo of the drink menu then the drinks picture - I inadvertently created a time stamp - it took 18 minute for our drinks to come out. We...almost left. We asked if they had emptied a keg and our server told us..."no, the dishwasher ran out of silverware and I had to help" Food came out and wasn't hat. Bangers and Mash cold in the center of the potatoes. .More

My steak dinner was terrible. It was the thinnest steak I've ever had at a restaurant. Ordered it medium-came out closer to medium well (hard to cook a flat steak) I've had much better steaks in Mexico. Makes Applebees a 5 star restaurant in comparison!...The mash potatoes were marginal-possibly made from a box. My broccoli was burnt. The black and tan however was excellent and the bartendress was attentive. The outside bar was crowded. It looked like people were enjoying themselves. The pub is in a nice location. The beer menu was solid for an Irish Pub. Great to see Bass Ale on tapMore

It was Wednesday. 8:15PM. We were hungry and looking for someplace that was open. Aidan's Pub was opened, so we ordered from there. I went to pick up the food and found the pub to be a very cozy spot. The food was really tasty...and good. Aidan's Nacho plate, Smoked Irish Salmon, Galway Chicken Sandwich, Aidan's Style Fish & Chips. All good! We have decided we have to go eat there next time. Yes, of course, I recommend this place.More

Very good pub food. I had the fish and chips, another had a special and the last had a chicken pot pie. All were good. Staff was attentive but busy. Atmosphere was Irish pub. Good beer. I enjoyed it.

We stopped by for a casual afternoon drink and was greeted by an extremely rude hostess. She took our number and told us to sit down somewhere. There were no seats to sit at and she gave us no indication of what or when a...table was available. We went outside to wait and our number was never called. Extremely disappointed !More

We reserved an outdoor spot for St. Patrick's Day yesterday. The outdoor tents (for lack of a better word) are roomy and much more than the plastic igloos many places are doing. It was a bit chilly- the heat lamp offers some warmth, but not...a lot. The big issue was that someone was clearly smoking in another tent, and the smoke was getting into ours. I realize the restaurant staff cannot control patrons, but that was obnoxious and really took away from the experience. The food was good, as always. Service was fine. We never received refills for water, but our server was friendly and our food came quickly. I had the fish & chips and my dining companion had the Cajun chicken sandwich- both very good.More

We visited Bristol for an afternoon and stumbled across Aidan's. Tables were socially distanced and outdoor dining with heat lamps were available. Although we ate inside, there were many diners outside as well. I ordered a 1/4 lb Angus burger with sauteed onions and bacon...blue cheese. My spouse ordered a grilled ham & cheese. Both hit the spot.More

Great burger, lobster roll, and steak. Right near the water. Outdoor seating. Felt clean and seats spaced well for COVID social distancing.

We've been to Aidan's several times for lunch, & it's consistently very good. Even now (during Covid19) the beer list is good, though with fewer selections than usual. This visit: I had the smoked salmon with capers, minced onion, whipped horseradish cream cheese, toast points;...it was EXCELLENT! Very generous portion (it's an app, but was plenty for my lunch), fresh, nicely presented. My husband had the reuben sandwich w/fries; always a good choice with plenty of tender, lean corned beef. Service is always very good, as is the value. Recommend highly.More
