Kept seeing their signs on Route 80 but it was never a good time. Finally the other day it was 10:30am so we stopped. The "mountain of pork" sandwich I had was superb. Smoky but not overpowering, great flavor. My daughter's brisket sandwich was good but maybe we were too early in the day as it was a tad tougher... More

After passing by several times taking my daughter to and from State College, PA., I needed a bite to eat and decided to try some BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich and small fries. The sandwich was pretty good as well as the fries. Both ample portions for the price. The brisket was flat cut and sliced thin. I could... More

We stopped at Gio's the other day to eat and the food was excellent. Between us all we had tried the ribs, bbq pulled pork, beef brisket and the smoked sausage. All of it was great. I would recommend you stopping in for some excellent bbq.

It's off I-80 a bit worth the stop. Good BBC in a rustic setting. Great people working here... The one catch is the drinks from the convenience store.

I am a big BBQ guy and had my reservations about a gas station bbq stop. Boy was I wrong. We had the ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken w/ sides of haluski, beans, chili and mac& cheese. Nice size portions, excellent flavor...done really well... Will it be the best you ever had? No...but it is really good and worth a stop.... More

About a dozen or so times a summer either my wife or I will say, "Let's ride the motorcycle to Gio's for supper." After arriving, we will always say, "Why don't we try something else this time?" After looking at the menu for a few minutes, we will always order a pulled pork sandwich again. It's not that the other... More

Excellent BBQ joint inside a gas station just off route 80. I had the Pittsburgher which consisted of a big pile of bbq pulled pork, coleslaw and seasoned fries and it was great road chow. Very highly recommended.

Check out the yummy BBQ at Gio's right on Rt 322 near Clearfield, PA. Huge portions of BBQ and Brisket with great sauce! Comes with various sides including real baked potato, creamy coleslaw and bread! Definitely enough for 2! Convenient to the I 80 hotels at the Clearfield exit so get it to go and enjoy at your great suite/room... More

Gio's is the place to go for BBQ. Hubby had BBQ sandwich, which is enough for 2 people. I can't have the roll, so they offered me 1/2 pound of BBQ in a dish with a side of cole slaw. Delicious! Cole slaw was good, too. They have quite the menu, featuring all sorts of BBQ dishes. Location is great,... More

This is a bbq joint but their catfish was over the top. Had the 12oz and it was more than i could eat. Tomorrow's brekkie is gonna be their bbq sampler plater. That should be enough for three meals. Mmmmmm Staff are very friendly and courteous!
