Its a brewery, bar and family restaurant wrapped in one location. We saw this hotspot on the map prior to arriving at Williamsport and decided we would give it a try one night for dinner. Walking in our wait was maybe 2 minutes when a hostess came to ask if we been assisted. She politely asked to give her a moment so she can clean a table and get us seated. The restaurant was crowded for a Saturday night around 7 pm, but there was also a event taking place at a center across the street from what we noticed.
Once seated we was immediately served with drinks and our dinner orders where placed.
I got the fish and chips with a cranberry cider and he got the face off burger, with the old toad beer.
The restrooms were clean and fresh and the staff was friendly and quick. We would go back. which was delicious and spicy.

My husband and I were passing through Williamsport and I checked Trip Advisor for restaurant suggestions. We chose Bullfrog Brewery because they had pork belly mac and cheese. Unfortunately they were sold out of the pork belly so my husband had the jalapeño cheddar sausage mac and cheese instead - he loved it. Everything here was delicious. We had flights of beer, homemade root beer and pretzel logs with beer cheese. We bought some beer (Edgar IPA) and root beer to take home (I may not share the root beer with my kids). We definitely be back!

Dinner at 5:30 p.m. 02/15/2020. Wife and I celebrating a special occasion. Edgar beer was very good. Both our meals unfit to eat. Wife's bacon wrapped meatloaf burned up. Unfit to eat. My Delmonico steak ordered medium rare, came well done. Person in charge for the evening tried to make things right. Ended up not eating any dinners, not paying for what I already had and left, never to go back again. Feel sorry for our server having to serve garbage like this to a customer and then have to hear about it. We ate there exactly a year ago eating the exact same dinners and they were perfectly done. Will not gamble again having driven here from out of state having this place as a must eatery for a celebration.

Stopped in for lunch. Beer selection is heavy on the IPAs, looking forward to when the trend for pilsners and lagers comes back. Ciders were eh. The Farmhouse unfiltered is the better of the three. We settled on their Red ale. We each had a burger. I did traditional with lettuce and pickles, asked for MedW cooking, came out rather pink, so ate the perimeter mostly. Loved the sweet potato fries. Owen had a Pittsburger which was huge. Truly it was impossible to eat without a fork and knife. He asked for Med and it was cooked correctly. We would go back again for lunch. Saw lots of folks doing tasting flights and the decor is nice, bathrooms clean.

We have eaten here a few years ago and I have to say it was much better then. We were seated right away, hostess was friendly. Our server was not super friendly, almost seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Other staff who were there seemed real friendly, maybe just this person was having an off night. We had the garlic crusted chicken and swiss schroomer burger. The chicken was good, pasta was good, the burger was a bit dry. I got the battered fries which were supposed to be breaded with a garlic taste, they were just regular fries (nothing special). The beer was OK, we both had Billtown Blonde and they were a bit warm. Overall it was an OK meal.

My friend and I stopped in with her kids after a weekend in town. We stopped in around noon on a Sun and there was a brunch menu. For such a small place, they have a ton of things brewing, very cool. The vibe was nice, servers were very friendly and attentive. There was live music which was nice. I ordered a bbq burger and fries and it was delicious-the bun was huge, so I decided to fork & knife it! My friend ordered a brisket sandwich and she loved it. The kids ordered nachos (I snuck a taste...the chips were so good...actual ground corn tortilla chips!). Lots of family vibes on a Sunday morning, it was nice. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Was recommended to us by friends while visiting in the area recently. My wife had a salad which I won't rate (she said it was good but how do you rate a salad?). The star of our lunch was the Swiss Shroomer burger. You could taste (and see) the fire roasted parts where it rested on the grill. Simply delicious. In all honesty, it was the best burger I've had in years - and I eat a lot of burgers in that time!
The service was good.
If interested in beer, I had a Shady Hobbit Barleywine - reminded me of the Belgian Barleywines I've had - very good.

We ate outside for lunch. We had the daily special of an open face roast beef sandwich on sourdough and a Korean Salmon Salad. Both were very nice. Very cute place with a fun decor all frog related. Menu had cute names for many of the items.

We spent a night in Williamsport on our way to Pittsburgh. After walking around the pleasant downtown area we stopped at Bullfrog Brewery. Since there was a tournament going on inside, we sat outside. Shared a crab dip appetizer, 3 beers and a cider. Their headliner "Edgar DIPA" and black current cider were memorably delicious, as was the crab dip, and the other two beers were also good. Attentive service. Definitely recommended.

Parking is not the greatest as there are only metered street spots. Luckily they are only 25 cents per hour so bring a quarter or two. The food is fairly priced and the quality and portions are outstanding. Due to covid restrictions, they could only fill to 50% occupancy, but this place always seemed to be hopping compared with the other restaurants in the area. They do make their own beer if you are into trying new beverages. We stayed at a hotel in the area and this was our go-to big meal of the day spot.

Very careful with keeping things safe: staff wears masks, wipe down menu’s, reduced # of tables, sanitize pens... They have your health in mind. If this is important to you, the bullfrog is worth checking out. Thanks to the establishment for doing things right.

We had already eaten at Windows on 4th in the Genetti Hotel across the street where we were staying, so we just wondered in to check it out and enjoy a flight. The flights were 4 for $10 and we liked the Mango Wheat, Apricot Wheat, Photon, that was a lighter ale and the unique Chocolate Williamsporter. We both went back to the Photon, while enjoying the laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff. The menu looked good and we will have to try some of their dry rubbed wings the next time we are in town.

This was our first time eating at The Bullfrog. We didn’t have reservations, but it only took a few minutes to be seated. Several people in our group got a burger, which were very good, and one got the Mac and cheese topped with chili, also very good. Our waiter was great, very attentive, and the food came out quickly. They have a typical bar menu and a page full of their house made beer. Great visit. We will definitely return.

You hit the trifecta here: this place is worthy visit for the beer, the food and the atmosphere. This place also offers home brewed root beer and hard cider. Good vegetarian food options are available.

We don't drink. We went for the food. Wife is vegetarian and was very happy with the menu selections. She had the Veggie Mac/Cheese and enjoyed it. I had the Bullfrog Fish and Chips. Very good. We had a dog and ate outside. The waitress was very good and even brought the dog some water. There was a show that night (across the street at the CAC) so we made sure we had reservations the day before and early (5:30). Although they usually don't take it for outside, they did for us. Once we sat down, the few remaining were taken pretty quickly. If I was hungrier, I would've started with the crab dip or soft pretzels. They looked good at other tables! It was a pleasant dinner. We'll come back!
