Perfect for brunch or at any time. A huge plus when in the area.

We had already enjoyed two top-flight meals on our short jaunt to Williamsport. As we prepared to head home we by chance stopped for brunch at Barrel 135. Surprise!! It was even better than the others. The food is locally sourced, perfectly prepared and served by one of my all time favorite servers. Everything was so good that when we got home I immediately began planning another trip to the area.

Nice place!!!

Upon sitting down I was greeted immediately by a friendly waitress named Kelly. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had the Devils on Horseback which were nothing short of AWESOME!!! Dates stuffed with chorizo, wrapped in bacon covered with a hot sauce. I also had a tempura roll which was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend Barrel 135.

Good Food, Location, and Beers

Nice, small place in downtown WilliamsPort. We were greeted by some “friendly” and loud guests as we walked in. We sat on their patio to avoid the obnoxious guests at the bar. Our server was friendly and fairly knowledgeable of the beverage menu. Food was great! It was fairly slow this night, but it still took a little bit longer for our food to come out. It wasn’t a deal breaker through, because the food was fresh and hot. The server was somewhat attentive, but could have been better. Timing and attentiveness would have gotten them 5 stars. If you look past those two things, it’s a great place for beers and great food.

Not much for the money

Stopped in for apps and a drink before a show. Ordered the charcuterie board and calamari. The charcuterie had a small pile of shaved salami, a small pile of hot pepper cheese, a small pile of cheddar, a soft pretzel and some dipping mustard. When I say a small pile...I an talking about a quarter cup of each. The calamari was ok, but not crisp. The sauce served with it was thick and boring. Everything, including the drinks were way overpriced.

It’s Ok

The food was just ok. Nothing really special. Service was ok, until our waitress seen people she knew. She ended up putting my husbands drink down to talk to them and then pick it back up to give it to him. Not professional.

An exceptional find in Williamsport

On Saturday, August 31st, my husband and I found this restaurant right around the corner from our hotel. We sat at the bar and ordered a few of their specialty martinis 🍸, then ordered a few more. They were made to perfection. We had the spicy tuna 🍣 roll and it was great. We both ordered the mussels (moules and frites) with the fries and bread on the side. Firstly, the broth was delicious. Make sure you get a spoon to get every drop! It’s both a little sweet and savory. Fries and bread (focaccia) were tasty and compliment the mussels beautifully. Wish we had room for dessert because everything sounded yummy. If you’re in Williamsport and looking for a laidback place with wonderful food and service, look no more. You won’t be sorry.

Great place for dinner

Great option in downtown. We were there in the area for an event and only had one night to explore town. Barrel 135 was just what we were looking for. Small but lively restaurant. Good food options and reasonably priced. Service was great!

Great atmosphere, mixed choices of meat and fish dinners, and excellent staff. The food was delicious and well presented. Highly recommend this establishment Great choice of signature cocktails as well

Enjoyable late May evening at Barrel 135

Let me start with the server; Brandee. She was pleasant, talkative (just the right amount), not too fast or too slow. She allowed us to set the pace. Her recommendations were also spot on. We shared the Korean Fried Cauliflower and Volcano Roll. The KFC was on point from a taste perspective. Personally could have used more heat, however realize I could be in the minority. The Volcano Roll was solid and a health portion. For main course we both shared the special of the day - Crab Cake. One large Cake each with very fresh snap peas was plenty. Would repeat the meal on the double.

My husband and I had a short ribs and they were delicious. My son had the chicken sandwich and he loved it! Highly recommend! We sat outside it was beautiful out❤

Great Lunch!!!

We happened to find this gem on TripAdvisor and we were very happy about our lunch choice. Burger was awesome and surprisingly huge. Delicious mango habanero chicken sliders as a special and the hand cut fries were seasoned perfectly. Definitely plenty of food to eat. They had a great selection of beers on tap and multiple IPAs. Our favorite was the milk and cookies imperial stout and the hazy IPA. Beautiful pub, clean. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. We made an excellent choice today!

Not impressed at all !!

When we went the first time, we sat outside - the wait staff were not impressive at all--acted put upon. Plus, the table was dirty and there were spiders around the table! We won't go back.

A Fine Place

Wife and I had an early Tuesday dinner here, so no crowd. Wife’s teriyaki steak bowl was excellent. My ahi tuna tacos were very good, but should have had a little more tuna. Service and atmosphere were fine. We’d go again.

Good Food & Service

Ate here with co workers. Had a very good meal. Got the special of the night a salmon poke bowl & it was just ok. The other food we ordered was very good. Nice beer selection too.
