We were recommended to dine here by a salesperson at Otto's BMW. Although we didn’t have a reservation we were able to get a lovely table for two on the porch. The food was excellent as well as the service. Surprisingly the burger is one of the best I've had in the area. I suggest, as we always do, to... More

Reservations are recommended. Parking is limited but spaces available next to the Dilworth Inn with a little walk. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. They had several rooms including an upstairs after you pass the small bar setting. Dinner menu has a good range of choices and they offer a few key specials. The service was good with... More

This was fifth visit to the bistro. Every time my meal has been excellent. We start with bourbon old fashions. For appetizers we had the wedge salad and the signature salad. For dinner we had the duck breast special with a dark cherries and the wild boar pasta. A chocolate mousse completed out meal. Dinner was amazing! A shout out... More

Had a dinner for 2 at the Pear. It has a couple of eating rooms and a bar area. When crowded, it can get noisy, as the ceilings are low (in the 19th century building fashion) and the tables are a little close together, but not claustrophobic. The food preparation is imaginative, and the portions decent for the money. Service... More

Went for dinner on a trip to see the guys I went to college with in the early 90s. The building itself is old and had a great pub feel where we sat downstairs. The food was great, Good selection and very tasty. Good drinks, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. I would go here again when visiting friends in... More

What seems away from a large town is this small country bistro, set over two floors. Great services is provided by friendly knowledgeable staff. They openly encouraged us share starters mains and deserts as we liked the sound of each others courses. For a mid week evening it was a nice touch having a guy playing music on a fiddle.... More

We went here for a family dinner. Sat upstairs, which is nice, but next visit I would eat downstairs where it was more active. We had pan seared scallops which were divine. The short ribs were the best I ever had. Bar makes a great old fashion and dinner was complete. All five dinners were excellent. I look forward to... More

Small bistro with a unique menu. I love the calamari small plate --- light, crunchy and served with a sweet thai chili sauce. The sauce has a unique taste that I enjoy so I order this every time we eat here. Medium plate dinners a reasonable size so you can enjoy an appetizer and/or a dessert without feeling over stuffed.... More

I had scallops which are a bit pricey anyway but they were slightly undercooked, my wife and braised beef ribs which were tender but slightly bland. For desert I had chocolate mousse which should be categorized more like pudding than mousse, I would have rated this 3.5 stars but the price was over the top.
