To offer a dinner at a B&B is unique enough, but the choices and quality of same were unmatched by anything we have ever experienced! I cannot talk enough about the unsurpassed breakfast offered complimentary with our room reservation and served in the sunlit (although it was raining) atrium.

I am local and have gone there before for brunch and a few times for drinks. The food is not worth the price and if you are going there for the stores forget it. There are very few worth coming for. All of the big names moved out.

It seems as though you must have reviewed the wrong location. We are not affiliated with the former outlet mall. The businesses that are there are owned by your neighbors. They are small retail shops, professional, and medical businesses. We believe they provide an alternative shopping experience to the big box stores. They enjoy the services they provide to the... We spent two nights at this amazingly beautiful Inn in July. The Inn sits on top of a hill in the middle of this town. We felt like guests in a mansion from years back. Their complimentary breakfast had multiple choices, served in their sunny side porch. We had a wonderful dinner on our last evening in their romantic back... More

Thank you. This is such a lovely review. We are pleased to hear such wonderful feedback from a 'friend' who appreciates all that we do and offer for our guests. I do apologize that you had trouble locating our establishment on TripAdvisor and I will look into this issue right away. Falling Water is incredible at all that they do... More

Went to Georgian Inn (GI) on a previous visit to Somerset (2 years ago) and enjoyed the food and ambiance--so went back on our last visit (August 22, 2015). Unfortunately it was not so good this time. My wife and I ordered an appetizer and main entrée to share as we do not eat a lot and we do not... More

Attended several events at this beautiful house and although each event was very different (memorial tea, a family reunion, and an after funeral me all) the accommodations were excellent.

We stopped there after church on Sunday looking for a breakfast spot. They had stopped serving at 10am, and we arrived at 11. They serve a limited breakfast menu for their overnight guests. Not knowing this at the time I asked if they served breakfast, our server gratiously explained the above to us, but said she would check with the... More

Thank you for this wonderful review. The server that you speak of is still talking about how delightful your group was. Having guests such as yourself really makes a "job" seem more like an "opportunity" to meet and interact with a friend. We will definitely be looking forward to seeing you again whenever you make it back for your dinner.... More

Gourmet, tasty, and well-presented. The wait staff was personable and friendly, but not well groomed.

Thank you for these kinds words regarding our food, service, and presentation. Our serving staff wears black pants, black vests, and white gloves. Perhaps another staff member may have walked by and gave you the wrong impression. We will look in to it. Regardless, thank you for the positive review and we hope to see you again soon. More

We enjoyed our meal on June 7 at the Georgian Inn in Somerset PA. We joined 30 plus people to honor Istvan Jaray, conductor of the JSO. The afternoon began with a reception in the open, engaging sun room. Drinks, tea, coffee, crackers, cheese, an unusual dip, and strawberries were there. The dining area is a large elegant room with... More

My wife and I attended an event at the Georgian Inn of Somerset last Sunday (6-7-2015). It was a fundraiser, organized by the Somerset Auxiliary of the Johnstown Symphony, to celebrate the retirement of Istvan Jaray, Maestro of the Johnstown Symphony for the last 33 years. The event was truly memorable. The Inn allocated two of their dining rooms (they... More

The Georgian Inn of Somerset is listed on the National Registor of Historic Places. Built as a private residence in 1915 by a prosperous coal and cattle baron, the mansion was designed for entertaining. The mansion has been restored to its original grandeur and opened in 2010 as The Georgian Inn of Somerset. We also offer afternoon tea, luncheon tours, fine and casual dining and tapas with wine pairings. Outdoor seating on the terrace is available, weather permitting. A tour of the property discloses the luxury accommodations in a number of rooms and suites.
