Must stop restaurant if you're staying at Shawnee. They have their own craft beers and food is local! Large variety on the menu- something for everyone!

BUYER BEWARE. We ordered an entree which included french fries. We were asked if fries were okay. When asked what options we had, we were told we could get sweet potato fries or onion rings or a couple of other things. We opted for the first two. When the check came there was a surcharge for the change. The surcharge... More

This place had a lot of variety on the menu, and local craft beers. If it wasn't February, it would have been great to sit outside on their patio by the stream (to the river)! They have an upstairs dining room, downstairs bar/food, and the patio. Service and food good: no complaints!

The food was excellent, staff friendly, and we went back again the next day. Ribs fell off bone, fish and chips was fresh and crispy, ribeye cheesesteak was yummy, quesadilla extra cheesy, wings were great and crispy on both days, kids meals good sizes. The only problem was they were experiencing issues with the draft lines and most were warm,... More

Stopping in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch the Brewpup was not very crowded. They have a nice selection of craft beers which most everyone would find likeable. Having numerous appetizers and sampling each one, the Hummus Tapenade,Cheddar Ale Dip, and the Veggie Corn Cake were all very good. The sandwiches were equally as good. The Buffalo Po'Boy was spicy... More

Food and service was excellent. All the items on the menu read amazing so I had a hard time choosing. The gentlemen behind bar recommended the Ribs, they were very good...smoky, sweet, and tangy. Hubby had the Jambalaya.

We were a group of 6 guys staying at the nearby Wyndham Shawnee Village Resort and stopped here for lunch. Food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal (and beer). We had 2 Cheddar ale Cheesesteak, 2 Gem burgers, pulled pork, and a quesadilla. We would recommend all of them! They have a small beer list with local brews from the... More

Had a nice dinner there but service was slow but it was convenient as it was on the grounds of the hotel. Would like to try other places to eat the next time I visit

Description
The Gem and Keystone Brewpub's menu features special bounty produced from the rich soil along the Delaware River from our own private Shawnee Island Farm™ (in season). Using local produce, all natural meats, PA farmstead cheeses and sustainable seafood, which match the Shawnee mission of reducing our carbon footprint and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. We use oak wood to fire our grill and offer vegetarian and gluten free menu options. We are a scratch kitchen, so our sauces, dressings and desserts are all made in house. Our restaurant is the official home of ShawneeCraft(R) artisan beers---handcrafted and brewed on the premises for your refreshment; we also have a reputable wine list along with a broad cocktail and martini menu. Conveniently located on the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort property, our outdoor dining is second to none with its breathtaking view of the Pocono Mountains. Reservations are recommended on the weekends.
