The view from the restaurant was beautiful especially at night time. The service was also right on point. The food however was very good but I would not say amazing. We had oysters to start and I had the tuna and my husband had the...More

Although pricey, this is one of the best restaurants to entertain out of town guests. Valet or on street parking. Great selection of seafood. Breathtaking views of the city while sipping drinks and eating appetizers. Count on bills of $50 or more per person.

Monterey Bay Fish Grotto is a semi upscale restaurant. The bill of fare is tasty but a bit pricey. The chef created desserts are to die for. I recommend eating there for a special occasion. Fresh fish is flown in every day.More

Hi! Our dress code is upscale casual or business casual. We ask that gentlemen don't wear ripped jeans, sleeveless shirts, and hats. Other than that, you'll be fine!

Yes it is, you should ask for a booth on the main dining floor. The lower floor has a bar and is an excellent place to have a drink and a view of the 'burgh!

Why wouldn't you make a reservation? So long as they don't charge for a cancellation, make it! Don't leave things to chance and plan ahead is my motto, especially when it comes to good/popular places to eat.
