This is a throwback to the old days of diners with great food, great service and large portions. Definitely a local hangout where everyone know your name. We had the seafood omelet, the Da burgh omelet and sausage gravy and biscuits. Everyone in my party...More

We stopped by DeLuca's Diner based on other TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We had the fish sandwich for lunch and it was terrific. The fried fish portion was huge extending when beyond the bun. It was delicious--not greasy. I even ate the breading...More

DeLuca's Diner was recommended by several locals as "the place" to eat breakfast on The Strip. At 11 o'clock on a Saturday the line was out the door. The line moves quickly and the 15 minute wait was well worth it. The menu is big...More

Awesome breakfast. Don't be afraid of the waiting line. It goes fast. Average price. Worth the wait!

Worth the wait! There's almost always a line waiting to get in but it is worth it! Great food, good service, reasonable prices! Recently had my son-in-law's meal taken off the bill after a wager with the waitress. He ordered French toast and a burrito...More

Total Pittsburgh. Honest/warm and gritty- staff and decor. Loved it. Food was incredible. Massive portions. Delicious. Didn't have to eat the rest of the day. Went during off hours. Encountered no problems as other readers had when super busy. Will definitely be back.

We were in town in the Spring and visited this restaurant for breakfast and decided to make this one of our breakfast places when we visit the Pittsburgh area again. They usually have a line waiting to get in for breakfast, but worth the wait....More

Eggs Benny is the best we have had in a long time. My hubby orders it out where ever we go. We traveled for NY.

DeLuca's in the Strip District of Pittsburgh is the original DeLuca's Diner. Our diner is an old fashioned diner that has been in business since 1950. The new owners have owned and operated DeLuca's for over 25 years now maintaining the nostalgic feel and look of the original diner. DeLuca's is located on Penn Avenue, just look for the rooster on top of our building!
