Was eager to try the food at El Burro but now wish I hadnt. I ordered a street chicken taco and it was pretty bland. The tortilla was decent tasting but the filling was blah..way too much onion on top too. I also ordered the shredded chicken burrito and it was terrible. It was tasteless. .so bland. Would never eat... More

We were taking a lunch break from the Children’s Museum and walked over. If you go directly there it’s probably a 10 minute walk. Enjoyed a chorizo burrito, chips and guacamole, and a Mexican Coke. The food was good and we are glad we ate here versus at the museum. The only downsides to the place is that is a... More

Found this place on a road trip last summer. Good vegan burritos and just an all around good place to visit. Last time we went back twice in the same night because it's so good. This time. Sunday hours and exercising a little restraint only allowed us one visit. Chips and salsa. Awesome. Gucamole. Awesome. Hot salsas. Awesome. Burritos. Awesome.... More

I have been before and had decent meals, but the last my carne asada tasted like detergent. I am not sure how that would come about, but contacted el burro to let them know that day and never heard back. I was UN able to finish much of the burrito and have not been back since.

We tried just about everything on the menu and loved it all. An unexpected gem in the North Side. No dining room, just stools and wall counters, but fine for a small group to eat in. Get some takeout and go to the park for a picnic. Highly recommend the chili relleno burrito. Awesome.

Was in the neighborhood looking for a restaurant option. Did a Google Maps search, and found this place: so glad that I did! Wow! Was definitely impressed. The place is small, hole on the wall small, although there are probably about 12 or so high tops stools for seating. The menus are easy to read. Most tacos are $3.25, except... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch and Wow! It is a great little place. The food ranks very high on my list of "Authentic Mexican" places to eat in Pittsburgh. The place is small and only has stools along the wall but that's just fine for a quick stop. We ordered the California Burrito, Chilaquiles and the Beef Rolled Tacos.... More

When this place opened not only was it a great addition to the neighborhood but the concept was fresh as well. Steadily as I've gone back it has recently become a shell of the el burro that opened. The carne asada, originally a go to for me was in edible. After contacting with no response of my concerns of possible... More
