My husband and I had lunch there for the second time since COVID began. On both visits the french fries were not fresh or hot. On this visit the majority of the fries were small pieces and not full sized fries. I realize it's my...fault for not alerting our server but I will if this occurs on our next visit. We were satisfied with our sandwiches and will continue to frequent this local establishment.More

All of our food was very good, the prices were great, and the service was also really good. We definitely have to go back, since we went at dinner time. The only down side of this cafe is that they didn't seem to serve breakfast...all day - we were not given breakfast menus. Oddly, when I looked after the fact, I see no times on their breakfast menu (their dinner menu does have a time on it), so perhaps we COULD have gotten breakfast if we'd only thought to ask. I figured they gave us all the menus we were able to order from at the time, but perhaps that's not the case. I'll have to call to check... A friend told me their PB&J French toast is amazing. I MUST try this. We'll definitely go back sometime for breakfast!More

Bestest flapjacks this side of the Missus-sip or them Blue Ridge Mountains. What I wouldn't give to step into a flapjack! Glorious, glorious flapjacks of Hanlons.

We are frequent guests of Hanlon's for breakfast. The food is very good & plentiful, and service is fantastic. Their juice servings are large. Not like some restaurants where the glass is about the size of a double shot glass. You won't be sorry if...you stop in Hanlon's for a weekend breakfast.More

While in the area taking care of family Hanlons was our "go to" place. Family members ate there daily, maybe for breakfast, maybe lunch, maybe dinner, maybe more than once! All dishes were cooked to order and came to the table promptly. This little cafe...did quite the business and we know why! They serve good food for good prices!More

I have been passing this nonchalant little treasure for years. Which is a terribly sad statement because I should have been stopping in for some of the tastiest food I have found in the Pittsburgh region. Hanlon's is in a shopping plaza of sorts, offering...plenty of convenient parking. The unpretentious front door is the entry to a world of wonderful. Wonderful people bent on giving an enjoyable experience, wonderful food, wonderfully clean surroundings, an all around wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a mealtime alone or with friends. I don't know about you but my life can use all of the added wonderful I can conjure up and here at Hanlon"s, they already have the recipe down pat and they make it their mission to share it.More

Located in the Crafton-Inghram shopping center, don't trust your GPS, it takes you to an Italian place on Foster, it is cozy and serves typical breakfast items, plus lunch with specials everyday. With special dietary needs it is refreshing to find a place so accommodating....My wife had eggs and sausage and grilled vegetables instead of potatoes while I had their veggie omelette where you can substitute cottage cheese or applesauce for the potatoes. The vegetable servings are large and being grilled are very tasty. Service is prompt and friendly with coffee cups being constantly refilled. Now we have favorite places on both sides of town.More

My family and I have visited this location several times in the last month. Staff is friendly and courteous. Food has always been good. I find that with the prices and the quality of the food, this is one of the better values in places...to eat. They have weekday lunch specials. The place can be busy on the weekends. All and all a good place t eat.More

Never been to the downtown location with negative reviews; that should be listed under a different address. I went to the Crafton location in the plaza to grab lunch with my coworker. Clean, courteous, nothing at all like the other reviews. The waitstaff were down...to earth and helpful, the place had plenty of clean seating. I ordered a turkey Rachel and my coworker got the hot roast beef sandwich. We were pleased; tasted better than the local chain diner. I will go back for sure.More

We where told by a local to stop at Hanlons for breakfast. It was a very TINY TINY place. When we stopped in, it was crowded, but then again, we went during the weekend of a convention that had PIttsburgh area packed with tourists. The...workers seemed friendly, we didnt have any issues there. My only issue was the cleanliness of the place. Yes, this place has been here awhile, so naturally yes, it will have a more older- grubby feel. However, almost all the tables where sticky/not wiped down nice. The menus where printed out pieces of paper that was about to fall apart and was covered in old nasty maple syrup stains and so forth. Our coffee was served in tiny cheap sterofoam cups (kind of added to that grubby feel). It had such a grubby feel of a place, I didnt even bother asking to attempt to use their bathrooms. The food was nothing great. I ordered the hashbrowns, totally greasey frozen bagged foods. Alot of my friends who came had no issues with their food. Its rated 2 out of 5 due to the dirtiness of the place but at the same time wasn't a horrible 1 star rating because the workers where nice and the food wasnt TOO bad.More
