I had the burger which was very flavorful, while my wife had one of their customizable "Build a Bowls" where you mix various ingredients to create your own custom dish. I also had a side of the Mac and Cheese which was top notch. Went at a busy time on a Friday night and was seated right away. It took... More

Last Sunday we wen't to the Shiloh grill on Mt Washington for brunch. It was a great choice. We did not have reservations so they took our # and texted us when our table was ready. We were only a block from the observation deck so we went out and had a little photo opt. By the time we walked... More

We found this place due to another trip advisor review.. And it was great. The crab cakes were awesome and huge. Cheeseburger w a side of Mac n cheese was awesome.. Kids meals were good too. Many times kids meals are ho hum, but here they are great. Cheese quesadilla, huge grilled cheese sandwich and generous portions of tater tots... More

Great stop for a couple of beers at the top of Monongahela Incline. We also got the hummus app and Britney Spears chicken app. Both were good. Kid friendly atmosphere.

We went on a Tuesday. It was 'bacon night' (?)Our server was sweet but not very knowledgeable. The menu is hilarious and fun. The location was really nice on Mt Washington in an area with other restaurants etc. The food was ok. Beer selection was great. We will go back but not in a hurry.

We (family of 4 with kids ages 3 and 5) combined dinner at Shiloh with a ride up the Monongahela Incline (a short walk from the station at the top of Mount Washington)and ice cream from a shop across the street. The place may not look like much from the outside but it was a great experience for us. We... More

This was among the highlights of our trip to Pittsburgh, and easily the best meal we have had in a the last few months. We were seated inside - it was 90+ that day. The environment is comfortable and ok, but we were not expecting anything fancy. Our 8-year old daughter ordered the chicken quesadilla. This was the best I... More

Walked across the bridge from the Point to the Duquense Incline. After getting a feel for the neighborhood we arrived around 6pm on Friday in October. Our server was Miles. He was friendly, informative and attentive. The place was crowded and filling up but we were seated promptly. The pierogies were a real treat. The Lasagne Aurbergine was excellent and... More

We ate here the night after I ran the Pittsburgh 1/2 marathon -- so I'd built up a bit of an appetite -- and we both decided to try out the "build your own bowl program". It was awesome! You pick a base, a protein, and a topper, and they cook it up for you. I had quinoa, braised short... More
