Went there for lunch one day and the food you get is enough for 3 days. In fact, I even had more than the 3 days worth. Definitively will be back!

Having tried many of the steak restaurants in Pittsburgh, I feel that the Capital Grille has the best steaks. I always order the 14 oz. sirloin which is enough for two meals. The truffle fries are not to be missed!

Nice ambiance in restaurant and bar. Food is ok - but the fillet I had was too salty. I've liked the fish dishes here better. Great service but not a particularly creative cuisine.

A business dinner. Had the mixed greens with the ribeye steak. Both were very good. Service was fine

We had dinner on a Thursday during Restaurant Week, the place was packed. Dinner was delicious. We had a pre-selected menu for RW. There were multiple choices in appetizer, and entree sections, and 2 choices for dessert, all for a set price. I had the wedge salad, fillet, and cheesecake. Mashed potatoes and green beans were placed on table to... More

we had to make our reservation on New Year's Eve for 3pm because we had to be at work at 5. it was not crowded at all. Only after we ate did I ask when the lunch menu ended and was told 3pm. If we had known that, we would have come a little earlier to have the lunch menu,... More

This is my 3rd (and last) disappointing experience at what used-to-be my favorite restaurant. The server, a big guy named Christopher, was surly and lazy. He had a condescending, impatient attitude. He left us sitting without a drink or appetizer order for over 30 minutes. He acted like we were a burden to him. When we asked to see the... More

We went here on New Year's Eve as a special treat and what a treat it was! My sons all said it was the best meal they'd ever had. I started with lobster bisque which was very tasty! My entree was tenderloin with lobster tails and I loved it. The lobster was cooked perfectly - nice and tender. Often lobster... More

From the moment that we entered, we were greeted with respect and politeness. The staff here is dedicated to treating people with courtesy and kindness. This is a place that has professional and dedicated people working here. The food was "out of this world" and one of the best meals that we have ever had. Do not pass up the... More

We had a party of 4 and the experience was outstanding for everyone. Each had a wonderful meal and the service was outstanding. They offered a "traditional dinner" as well as anything on the menu. One had a filet, one a fish dinner, one the scallops, and one the porcini rubbed bone in ribeye.
