I have always passed this place when i drive through Phoenixville, so we decided to try it one Saturday night. We had a reservation at 5pm, but found out they don't take them between 5:30 and 8:30 so i'm glad we did because this place filled up quick, despite the rain outside. Our server was very nice, explained any question... More

We had Sunday brunch with a group of seven. The menu was varied, the service prompt, and the decor quaint. The Montecristo was delicious, as was the egg, cheese and bacon sandwich with breakfast potatoes. The baked cinnamon bun was delicious, but extremely sweet, so best to order as a side dish as opposed to your main meal, as it... More

We went here on a Saturday night. We chose the Black Lab Bistro because it was the closest to where we parked. It was our 1st time here and we were very glad we picked it. The food was fantastic. My wife had the Scallops and I had the Braised short ribs. Both dishes were very very good. This is... More

This is a favorite for my wife and me. I view it as a symbol of the resurgence of Phoenixville. When I lived in Phoenixville in the 80s, there was nothing like it and I had to go to King of Prussia if I wanted to find a nice restaurant unless I wanted to splurge for eating at an inn.... More

We frequent the Black Lab Bistro as the food is consistently good and the owner is always friendly and goes out of her way to make your meal enjoyable. Try the Brussel sprouts--excellent, and the Caesar salad is very good. The short ribs are always tender and delicious and halibut and chilean sea bass are perfectly cooked. I love the... More

A quiet weeknight made for a terrific dinner for two --salmon, crab cakes, apple crisp and creme brûlée. All just excellent. And our server Kate offered understated yet attentive service. Perfect. We will be back soon. But fair warning. We're bringing the rest of the family!

Everyone has that one special place that never disappoints, and Black Lab is ours. My husband and I come here for a quiet couple lunch or dinner. We come here when we host business lunches or dinners. We bring family and friends. Never disappoints and our guests love it too. An intimate atmosphere on the main street of a little... More

So, After taking my wife and mother in law to a spa, we wanted to get something to eat, and going to an IHOP, or Denny's was not going to be appropriate. It was mothers day, so we traveled to the main street of phoenixville, PA. The birthplace of my Mother in law. Well we saw a quiet little restaurant,... More

We went there on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and were very, very impressed. The service is just right; there but not overbearing. The meal takes awhile as they make it from start. I had the french onion soup; very beefy with lots of onions and cheese. We all had good salads; trust their dressings. And the trout was done... More
