This was a first time visit with friends from the area, and we know we will be back. This sports bar is set in a old factory building, and is a great setting. There is a large bar with a very good selection of in house brews and a very good menu to select from. Had the crab cake sandwich,... More

I love the in house brewed beer. There is also a huge selection of beers at the large bar. The food is always outstanding. Most time I go for the ribs. Fall off the bone bathed in outstanding sauce. The mac and cheese side dish if unbelievably rich. Burgers are always good. Fun atmosphere and people. The owners really make... More

This is a small sports bar in the small town of New Freedom PA, It was originally built for some kind of manufacturing, they kept the old exposed brick, along with the steel structures in the ceiling, pretty cool looking. The daily specials on Friday and Saturday nights are usually awesome, plus the feature the sandwich of the day, don't... More

I met a couple of buddies to catch up just before the holidays and Seven in New Freedom was a compromise meeting place. Kind of a central area for the three of us. We got there on a Friday about 11:30 and the place was empty, but considering it opened at 11 it wasn’t a concern. It took about 5... More

Invited friends for dinner and we chose Seven. It was packed on a WEDNESDAY NIGHT! We had a 20 minute wait and were seated in the restaurant side. Started off with messy wings to share. They were hot but I had to ask for blue cheese to dip- which seemed strange. I had the blackened tilapia sandwich which I ordered... More

First went to this bar last year on vacation. Did a return trip this year. Great place to go watch sports, eat really good food, and have a few drinks. One of the best crab pretzels around!

Excellent Crab Cake and Crab Soup, some of the best we've eaten. The menu is quite extensive, including appetizers and well rounded "bar food" selections for late night or happy hour gathering. Friendly knowledgeable waiters and great service

Upscale bar food with a twist such as crab pizza, homemade chips, cream of crab and Maryland crab soup, turkey Cuban and jambalaya and specials such as Tuscan calamari, chicken saltimboca and honey mustard pork chops. We wanted crab cakes but at $21 for one cake, decided to pass. Opted instead for the 50/50 crab soup. Delicious! And only $7.50... More

We went with friends. Recommendation was the crab cakes. I went with the hamburger and homemade chips. Make sure you get a knife and fork. Messy good. Packed. Always a good sign.

It is always a treat to find a hidden gem " off the beaten track." This is so true of Seven, which is literally off on a side street in a small border town above the Mason-Dixon Line, but well worth the search. The building itself is a great piece of Nineteenth Century Industrial Architecture but it is the food... More
