This diner has an extensive menu, as you would expect. I was here on a business trip, and enjoyed the PA Dutch chicken pot pie. It was clearly made from scratch and the portion was filling. Additionally, most meals on the menu come with soup...More

I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to stop here for dinner before I checked in. Maybe I am spoiled by eating at New Jersey diners, but this was definitely a mediocre experience. I asked the waitress for her recommendation, as I normally...More

We stopped her for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. They had an excellent salad bar. The entrees were good. They had many cakes and baked goods at the check out counter. The most impressive dish was the carrot cake! We were impressed with the mouth...More

This place was recommended to me by my parents. They like diners and I’ve been to a few that I like. Not this one, I don’t plan on going back. Not a fan of the food, the decor or customers. When the food came out...More

The soup and salad bar is very well kept. Three choices of soup as well as good selection of options on the salad bar with apple butter to go with the wonderful biscuits/rolls. The menu covers just about anything you could possibly want to eat....More

This little town, with standard-issue chain restaurants and motels off the highway, has several anomalous places with great food! Has a tribe of foodies migrated here from Athens, London, Santa Monica? John's is exactly what you'd hope for -- but rarely find -- in a...More

Since I don't own or manage this restaurant my answer is based on my observation/opinion the restaurants like this don't take reservations. This is more like a Denny's or Bob Evans and they are first come first served.
