If you don't mind the stench of cigarettes interrupting your meal, than this is the place for you. The end of our experience here almost ruined the whole rest of the experience which was otherwise amazing. The wait was about 45 mins for a table outside which wasn't unreasonable on this stunning evening. We got drinks at the bar, we... More

We had six of us on a Friday night for dinner. We are not from the area, and were looking for something relatively casual with good food. Previous reviews steered us here. Everything was good from the service to the menu to the food itself, with one exception. Nothing outstanding but just good solid entrees and drinks. I ordered the... More

My husband and I had been to Mt.Gretna Hideaway in early Dec.and it was good. Decided to take guests there last night. Daughter's salmon was dry and overcooked. Peel-and-eat shrimp had shells that were stuck to the shrimp. Worst of all, my French onion soup had very little cheese on top. After I complained to the waitress, she brought me... More

Kathleen, We are so sorry to hear that you found any displeasure with your recent visit. We would never condone any of our staff making our customers feel unwanted or that their concerns don't matter. We could have very easily recook a new piece of salmon for you so that the taste would have been perfect instead of overcooked as... More

Very much enjoyed our dinner. Food is reasonably priced. They have different food and drink specials every night. Would go back again if ever in the area again.

We stopped here during a fall visit to Mt. Gretna. We had a delicious lunch. The onion soup was generous and tasty as was the home made potato chips served with our sandwiches. We ate on the patio and enjoyed everything.

We had a lite dinner in the bar and the food was very good. I had one of the roast beef sandwhiches which was quite good. I dont remember what the others had but we all enjoyed it. I would have loved to set on the outdoor deck it looked great but it was a little cool for my wife... More

Great late afternoon weather so we sat on the deck. Special Octoberfest menu available through the month. Nice selection of German food. Bratwurst was very good and pork shoulder roast was good. Sauerkraut was very sour and great. Germen chocolate cake a little dry but good. Nice selection of craft beers. Jacko Pumpkin was excellent. Beers were $3.00 before 5... More

We came here twice and thought the food was excellent each time. I had the pretzel crusted pork chops with mustard sauce, sauerkraut, and pierogis tonight. The combo worked well together and was delicious. We'll come again when we are in the area and recommend it.

Had a beer braised kielbasa sandwich, with braised red cabbage and pierogi. The pierogi was good, served with Carmelized onions. The red cabbage was good, although fairly bland. The sandwhich was the best, cheesy with a well seasoned kielbasa. My wife had 2 # of steamed clams. Had lots of clam shells, but 1/3 were empty. The asparagus side was... More
