You come to the diner for the experience more than the food. The food was average to good. The fried pickles were the good part. Our waitress was good but it was busy. The diner interior was the show.

Breakfast had everything you could ask for. My husband had the special & I had the healthy option omelet. The only thing wrong with the special was it was so plentiful, he couldn’t eat it all. My omelet came with fruit which the waitress brought...first so I could enjoy it as an appetizer. The wait staff was friendly & attentive. They wanted to make sure everyone had a positive experience. Loved it, will return.More
Super cute find - a little ways off the highway. The proprietor has collected and purchased authentic 1950s diner seats and memorabilia and it’s full of Elvis etc photos. Super friendly guy and great service. Had breakfast and it was lightning quick and delicious.
We were on holiday from UK and staying nearby. Came here for dinners both nights. Very friendly and helpful server. The food was delicious, shrimp caesar salad one night, ham loaf and burger macaroni tonight, and very good value. We wish we lived nearer!
We’ve been here twice in the past 24 hours. Lunch and breakfast. Excellent food, friendly service. Our waitress was super friendly. Classic diner look with 60’s music in the background
Really good diner! Great service. Our food was very good. Nice Benedict and some really tasty chipped beef. We will surely come back
We have eaten here a few times, its consistent service and food. Friendly warm and inviting atmosphere with a family feel. Food portions are big if you leave hungry its your fault. Breakfast is tasty. We enjoy every visit.
2 dinners in 2 nights in this area and both shared similar issues. An extensive impressive menu but when the food arrived it was underwhelming. I ordered veal and my wife ordered haddock and it was concerning that both entrees looked the same. Processed patties,...I imagine frozen instead of fresh foods. Both were mediocre, thin and bland. And why do restaurants list “bread & butter” with meals but never bring it? All these items were shared with a restaurant down the street, Peppercorn. Are they owned by the same people? One upside was the other thing it shared with that place was that the service was pleasant and polite. Poor food though, not again.More
Sunlight diner has good food, good service, but on our last visit the Hollendaise Sauce on the Eggs Benedict was bad. Thick tasteless sludge ruined a good breakfast. The cook needs lessons in serving that sauce! Had no lemon in it and was way too...thick.More
A friend and I were looking for a early morning breakfast when we discovered this neat place. There were very few people in the place because of covid, but the place was clean & welcoming. The waitress got us a table & drinks quickly. Food...was very good & prices were reasonable. If you like dinners this place is excellent.More
Saw a couple of reviews online and thought we'd give this place a shot. Typical diner menu, lots of choices. My wife had a grilled turkey sandwich on sourdough (daily special) and I got the fish and chips. Her sandwich was very good, fish and...chips was ok (frozen filets). The real star was the Chicken Florentine soup. It was delicious. Service was very good; our server asked if I needed more tartar sauce when she brought our lunches but then didn't refill our iced teas.More
We have been here before but it was several yrs ago and at that time I was not impressed but now I was. We had great customer service from the moment we walked in. Bit of our breakfast we good , my scrambled eggs were...done just the way I like them. We definitely will be backMore
We ate at Sunlight Diner last night. What initially grabbed our attention was the word 'diner'. What made us stay was your clean and nostalgic eatery. We enjoyed two superb meals which consisted of an old fashion vanilla milk shake, clam chowder, the Kansas City...sandwich (suggested by our waitress)and garden salad and spaghetti and meat balls. We are proud to say we were both members of the clean plate group. In addition to our meals, we had a delightful waitress, Amanda. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. The food and service is what will make us return on our next trip to Pennsylvania. Kudos!More
Near the hotel we were staying at so we gave it a shot. Pleasantly surprised. Excellent breakfast, good service, reasonable prices. Friendly staff and very clean.
This was our 3rd visit here but first dinner time visit. Good, friendly staff and service. Great diner with outside seating for warm weather. Clean restrooms too. Great photos of Elvis, Marilyn and cars throughout. Cannot wait to try more menu items!
