Grew up on JoJos. Our visit this last weekend ruined some good childhood memories. This pizza was a joke. Cardboard with tomato sauce and pricey cardboard at that. Cheap cheese and pepperoni. Disinterested staff. We won't be back.

Chanced upon this pizzeria driving through the town. The pizza was so good that we drove back the next day, about a 25-minute drive opposite the direction we were headed, to grab more pizza and tried other dishes from this establishment. The mussels and pasta...dishes were good too. The pizza itself had the right crispy texture and flavor. Spot on!More
We were traveling through the Hershey, PA vicinity & were looking for a local restaurant to eat dinner. We chose JoJo's Pizza and were happy we did. My grandson had a cheese pizza, my husband had a philly calzone & I had chicken parmesan. All...of our dishes came out hot and in a timely manner. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. If you're in that area, it's certainly worth the stop!More
Stopped at JoJo's because it was on my way home and picked up a large Mushroom pizza. I was shocked at the price of over $18. I usually patronize a few other shops in Dillsburg, York Springs, Carlisle which are all $ 3 - 5...less per pie. Then I got it home and began to eat.... very disappointing. It was a poor excuse for hand tossed fresh pizza dough. It was tough, dry and chewy. Very disappointing. I will NOT go back.More
Have been going here since it opened at its original location across the street in the 1970’s. Back then it was the only pizza in town. Now it is still some of the best in the area. New location is nice as well
Parked right out front and walked right to the counter to order. Fast, friendly service. Salads were fresh and really well made. The pizza came out quickly and it was hot! They did not hold on the pepperoni...great tasting sauce, crunchy crust...just a great pizza.
Gone to the downtown location since 1970’s when it was the only decent pizza in town. New location was great for take out during pandemic.
This was my first time to this restaurant. Since it is located on the main road, parking could be a concern however I was able to find a spot almost at the entrance! The restaurant is dated 1968 but has had a very nice upgrade...at some point. Once inside, the drill is to order at the counter, take the plastic number card to your table, stick it in the metal holder and then wait for them to either call your name or bring it to your table. They have a more modern menu board than most places and offer bottled drinks or fountain options, but no alcohol. Overall, it is a large place with two separate dining areas. They also incorporate mirrors effectively on the right wall to make it look even bigger. My order was a small meatball parmigiana sandwich ($7.19), small cheese pizza ($6.89) and a cheese ravioli dinner ($10) which came with a side salad. What I Liked: - The basic side salad (iceberg, Bermuda onion, olives, tomatoes) that came with the meal was a nice starter, crisp and cold with a good vinaigrette dressing - The thin meatball parmigiana sub roll was a good option rather a heavy Italian roll - The pizza looked under cooked however it was not. Everything worked well ... just chewy and crisp enough, sauce and cheese balanced. And it was not greasy. - The nine ravioli were very tender and larger than average in size What I Did Not Like: - My table surface was very sticky - They have two 8-foot-long plastic tables in the main dining area with wood chairs. Wow even for a pizzeria that is a cheesy move. - The square side roll with the salad was too salty - The four meatballs were very small - The meatballs were moist but a waterlogged moist. The taste was not memorable. - They served the meatball parmigiana, pizza and ravioli all within five minutes of each other - The red sauce on the ravioli was too heavy of a presence and camouflaged them. It was thick, hand crushed plum tomatoes with a strong roasted garlic bite. This would work well with a heavier type pasta like rigatoni or ziti. They do offer other sauces like alfredo, etc. My Italian Scallion culinary rating landed this place at #6 of the 21 Italian restaurants I have eaten at in the area since February 2019. My Pizza Boss rating is 8/10 Paisanos, making it #3 of the 15 pizzas I have eaten in the area. My overall rating placed this restaurant at #33 of the 109 restaurants I have eaten at in the Carlisle area since February 2019.More
Our large family of seven stopped here for dinner last night. We were looking for some fast easy food as it was getting late. On the recommendation from a local, we tried this place. What a great find! We ordered a plain pizza and a...Florentine pizza. While we waited for our food to come out, the kids discovered a small arcade which had various machines for them to play on as well as a foosball game table. All of this was perfect entertainment for the kids. When the pies came out, they were hot, so we waited a little while longer for them to cool. When we finally got to eating them - what a treat! The Florentine pizza was delicious and the plain pizza - the kids really enjoyed. The interior was very nice and could easily accommodate large groups. I was told they even have a banquet room upstairs available for use. The only drawback that I saw was parking. They have a good size parking lot behind their building but if you were to have a large party, I think you would have to overflow the parking lot onto the small side streets to park. Other than possible parking problems, this was a great find with great food!More
I ordered take out on Sunday and it was excellent! The cheese ravioli portion was generous and tasty. The salad was fresh and the bread is homemade! This is so hard to come by these days. I would definitely like to return and try more...menu items. The restaurant itself is really nicely decorated and there is ample seating. The back entrance is handicap accessible and there is a wide hallway for folks with mobility issues.More
This is the best GF pizza and lasagna in Cumberland County, PA! Always consistently great food and excellent service.
We were on our way back from Pittsburgh to Philly last week when we hit meltdown mode - the kids were crying from hunger, and the wife was getting hangry. Dad wanted to muscle through to get home, but mom found their menu and wanted...to stop. It was Mother's Day, so I agreed (don't worry, that's not all I did for her!). Wifey had her eyes on the Pesto Parm pasta dish. Unfortunately, they were all out. So we got a few pizzas for the crew instead. The kids liked the plain pizza (that's Philly for cheese pizza), and my wife really enjoyed it, too. But she really liked my order - the Cowboy Steak pizza - Steak, pepperoni, onions, mozzarella, and BBQ sauce. Since it was still Mother's Day, she got a lot of that too. Staff was very friendly. Order at the counter, but they still deliver and clean up after you. Our kids loved the pinball games and quarter toy machines. Dad did not. Now I have 15 crappy plastic things the size of my thumb all over the car. But this stuff kept them occupied while Mom and Dad enjoyed the 'za. We swung down from the Turnpike to get here, and it was about 5-10 minutes from there. Definitely better than some soggy Burger King food. And on Mother's Day, Happy Wife, Happy Life!More
I have been trying to find a good place for cheese steaks in central PA. This has been the best outside of Philly.
We live locally and have never had pizza here. We ordered ours to go. Person on the phone was friendly and engaging. Picked up the pizza per the scheduled time and it was piping hot and crispy! Easy in and out. Very happy with our...selection. Very clean. Next time we might dine in.More
Worst pizza I’ve ever had. The slice was large but they took a slice of hot cheese pizza and just threw cold ham bits and room-temp mushrooms on top. Will not return here! Only plus was the Stewart’s bottle soda.
