Nice atmosphere and good food for lunch. I had the Chhicken Quesdilla and she had the Cheeseburger. We enjoyed our food.

I think it really depends on the time of day, the cook/ waitress, and if you are one of the owners friends or not whether you will enjoy your meal or not. The food is average. The service can be great or suck.

Smaller, more open space, less congested all describe the reborn Buckeye Tavern. If it's possible, the food is even better than before the fire. Good service and pleasant pub ambiance mark the new Buckeye. Good beer selections and a solid menu of tavern food with...More

After the second fire the Buckeye has reopened. It is now more like a sports bar than a mid-range dining experience. This is a positive thing. Casual food is very well done, drinks and drink specials each night are a plus. Décor is lively and...More

A fine local establishment with a lot of history. It won't win any food awards, but it is pleasant and delivers serviceable food with friendly waitstaff. I had the steak quesadilla, which was fine. The wings were good and hot and crispy. My husband had...More

We went to the pre-fire Buckeye several times and always had a good experience. The post-fire Buckeye, though, is simply unexpected. The building has changed significantly for the better. I love the new atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced, and really tasty. The menu is...More

We walked out after waiting 23 minutes to be served, the place is so noisy, because there are no longer any inside walls, you can barely hear yourself talk...way too places to eat to ever go there again

May 12, 2015 the Buckeye burned, it was closed for a bit more than 2 years. There are changes to be sure, but the quality of the food remains, the excellence of the service remains. Lisa was our server, she was superb. There are some...More

We were happy to see that the Buckeye has been rebuilt.....back from the ashes, as they say! The interior of the new tavern has surely been changed. Even though many of the stones, etc. from the first tavern were used in the re-construction of this...More

We had never been to the old Buckeye but were eager to try this new little restaurant in Macungie - which is lacking in good restaurants. The venue is beautiful - well decorated inside and outside. A beautiful place to dine and a bit upscale...More
