We were visiting the area and chose this restaurant for its proximity to Fulton Theater where we were seeing a show. Our meal was amazing! We are seasoned travelers and have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world. We had little expectations...More

We had visitors from NY and from Peru and decided to take them to Citronnelle. We couldn’t have chosen better. First of all, we all appreciated that we could have a conversation without having to raise our voices because the music was excellent and the...More

This was our first time at this lovely restaurant and we will definitely return. Small but cozy, this restaurant offers a first rate dining experience. The starters, pate and octopus were excellent. My wife had the winter vegetable salad as her entree and she claims...More

We had a good experience here but nothing stands out as outstanding. The service, atmosphere and food were all good and far above average. Our salmon dishes were tasty and creatively presented though perhaps a bit overcooked. It was certainly a pleasant evening and reasonably...More

At my third time dining at Citronelle, my fellow diners and I experienced a number of ups and downs, some of which will probably change the way I order my meal there if we go back again. Menu prices are appropriate for a restaurant of...More

FOOD: very delicious, creative and interesting. Had pate(A), White Gazpacho (A+++), Octopus (A), Pork Chop (A+), Corn Polenta Cake (A++)...More

This was the best meal we had in Lancaster, or anywhere, in years and was much better than our last high-end (2x$) dining experience in Philadelphia 'a Tinto. Every single dish was excellent, well executed and delicious. The attention to detail was noticeable and the...More

Went with high expectations. Love the nearby Maison. The space is small but not so much that you couldn't enjoy yourself. The menu has 5 entrees which is fine but the food was subpar. The squash bisque was very lumpy-major disappointment. The harvest salad was...More

Hi Lovely, We do not have a formal or strict dress code. Having said that, many of our guests enjoy wearing “smart casual” attire to dinner.

Citronnelle is a tiny jewel box of a BYOB restaurant serving modern French cuisine (with a global twist) in a chic and cozy mid century modern setting. We use only the freshest local, seasonal (organic where possible) produce, locally raised (hormone/anti-biotic-free and grass-fed where possible) proteins, wild/sustainable seafood and the finest natural ingredients available. Citronnelle has 32 seats and is a BYOB ($5 corkage fee/bottle applies). Because of our petite size, reservations are highly recommended. Merci et à bientôt!
