I have visited Crush only a few times this past year. I have always enjoyed grabbing a glass of wine and some eats before a show. Crush is directly above Carr's restaurant and you can order of either menu. The staff is great about wine tasting before you commit to your choice. I am sure it gets busy .... I... More

Carr's Restaurant has a wine cellar atmosphere with good grub. It's nice enough in the winter—an angular wooden bar cuts under the stairs that descend from street level and the colorful walls and comfort food make you forget any blizzard that might be raging above. But when summer light glows against the orange bricks of Central Market, you really should... More

We ate here on a Wednesday night. We had intended to eat downstairs at Carr's but had accidentally arrived 45 minutes early. While the staff at Carr's wasn't terribly accommodating (they told us we could sit at the bar, but failed to mention we could have ordered appetizers at that time), we went upstairs where Crush was already open. Our... More

We stopped in after eating downstairs at Carr's. It was the perfect way to end the evening . Prices are a little high so I probably wouldn't spend the whole evening here. 3 of us in the group had absinthe. This is definitely worth trying. The drink is made by pouring absinthe in an absinthe glass and the dripping water... More

This is the snobby beer and wine bar for people who don't want to be snobby! If you're a seasoned beer or wine aficionado, or if you just want to learn or expand your palate come here. Not only does this bar serve food from a highly Zagat rated restuarant (located downstairs, Cars) but they offer a wide and varied... More

The atmosphere is meant to be cozy and warm, which it is. The bartender is very knowledgeable in the beers and wine he serves. If you want a "bar", walk downstairs where there's a vast selection of liquor. To "matts399", it's Belgian beer...Belgium is a country. Belgian is the adjective form of it so don't act like you know beer... More

Stopped in at a friends recommendation. First off, it very small with limited seating. The food is very good, no qualms there. However, after ordering a Belgium style beer, that was way over-priced at this location, the bartender proceeded to dump the beer in our glasses...yeast and all! After mentioning the mishap to this 20 some year old young fellow,... More

Great place to have after dinner drinks. Not cheap, usually special featured wines and beers. Service is decent. I'd term this as more interesting, funky, small, "watering hole" above the average pub atmosphere. Located right by Lancaster's Central Market & Carr's Restaurant below (downstairs, same owner I think) is very good - I recommend the back room by the wine... More

Every once in a while it's great to get a night on the town, and this is a place I stop in to get a cocktail or two on my way to or from somewhere else. Cozy, classy, warm environment, but not stuck up. Yum!
