Great food! Always a surprise on how great this little restaurant is and it is a BYOB! We need to go more often! Super!

This restaurant takes the dining experience seriously. We sat at a high table overlooking the open kitchen -- request it. Bread with a mushroom/tomato humus (ymmm). For appetizers: mussels in a wonderful broth and my husband had the mushroom crepe. I selected the sole stuffed with crab (outstanding and very rich with huge crab lumps). My husband had the veal... The best mushroom soup I've ever had. Owner stopped by to check on us and chatted for quite some time (only a couple of other customers present). She was so knowledgeable about the area & shared alot of interesting info with us. Will definitely return on our next visit to Longwood. Also recommended it to friends who live in the... More

We've always wanted to try this restaurant. We had a delightful experience. The wait staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The owners treated us like family. Our food was excellent. I had the sea food pasta dish. It was very tasty. They asked on a scale of 1-10 how spicy I wanted the sauce. My choice of 6... More

If you're near Longwood Gardens or the Brandywine Museum a short trip to Kennett Square will put you near this little restaurant. My wife and I did for lunch and had some great mushroom crepes, and a portabella mushroom sandwich with stuffed crab. Both were exceptional! The wife of the owner was there and was a lovely person who told... More

This restaurant in Kennett Square was highly rated, so we thought we would give it a try. It's clearly a local favorite, but we expected something more. The mushroom soup was very tasty, although light on mushrooms which came in tiny bits. Because we were in the "mushroom capital of the world," we were expecting the menu to be filled... More

Great menu, service was on point and the desserts were Super! Steak was cooked perfectly and the seafood we had was very fresh with remarkable sauces. Hoping to try the outside dining in the summer.

Best soup, sublime tuna steak, amazing deserts. BYOB, cozy and friendly, you must like a view of the kitchen because you can't avoid it; it's part of the charm.

We were headed to see Christmas decorations at Longwood Garden and decided to have lunch first. Don't remember who came up with the idea--but it was a good one. And I am glad I called for reservations--not so much because we needed them as because they reminded us that they are BYOB. We aren't big eaters and opted to split... More

We made a trip to Kennett Square for the New Year celebration visiting Hagley Museum, Long Wood Gardens and Brandy wine River Museum. The first restaurant that we had dinner in was Portabello's . It was beyond all expectations. Food was so good, does not matter what you order. All 4 of us had different orders and still all was... More
