Seafood was fresh, well prepared and good value. The young gentlemen who served us was helpful and attentive, although the lady who we booked with, pointed us to our table and collected our payment was disengaged and had a poor attitude. Views are great.

We came here for our grandmother's 80th birthday and had the most beautiful experience. She was treated with the upmost respect. It was a breath of fresh air to see that old fashioned service here that you don't experience much of anymore. The staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful celebration for us. Especially the young lady... More

Went there for lunch in a group. We had a booked table seconds after we finished our meal the snarling waitress told us to pay our bill and hurry along as they had other people waiting for the table. Perhaps if they didn't take so long to bring drinks and take our order we wouldn't have been there for so... More

First impression when we were taken to our seats: The table wobbled (the waitress had to add another coaster under the leg), the chairs were metal and very uncomfortable. I thought the menu was rather disappointing for a seafood restaurant. Food we ordered, just ok. Hopefully when this place gets renovated it will have a new menu too. Prices don't... More

You really can't beat the location or the freshness of the food. Both were excellent. The whole experience was just a little let down by the slow service. We waited about half an hour for our food, from the front of the store. I know they were busy, but I'd have thought they would be used to that on a... More

This place has been there forever. They're still a fish and chip shop with pretensions. They've upgraded their jetty/restaurant over the years but it's still tacky. The novelty of collecting your own cutlery disappeared with their getting a license and charging a lot for cheap wines. It's still good for the venue and the pelicans. If you've not been it's... We have been here a few times and have always been reasonably happy. The venue is fantastic and lovely looking at the Pelicans. However, the service is appalling. The waitress could hardly smile( and it was not particularly busy). We waited about 15 minutes for drinks to arrive! The food was "ok". The restaurant itself could do with a clean up! The... More

We have been here before, enjoyed the location and the food. Sitting out over the water is most pleasant, and the seafood we had was excellent. Salt and pepper squid nicely breaded and cooked just right, then a seafood basket with a good combination of fish, prawns and calamari with chips and a side salad. A good selection of beers... More

Fishermans Wharf sits on a jetty looking out over the mangroves of Brisbane Waters and the pelicans are often in close attendance. I still wonder how on earth they can manage to fly. The food is not that adventurous at all - it doesn't need to be - and the service is - how can i put it - 'relaxed'.... More
