reading the reviews was a little misleading as a name change and new menu meant we were dissapointed. Barra burger was the only highlight with a terrible taco, poor kids burger and OK chips meaning the seagulls got a good feed from us. A shame really when you are this close to the sea as none of the fish tasted... More

Sorry your experience wasn't great, we did sell our business September 2016. Hence the name change. Next time take a drive to Cabarita to The Stunned Mullet and you will see our original menu where everything is fresh made to order by our chefs. We promise our fish and chips will be delicious and the seagulls will go hungry. More

Good afternoon. I am sorry your experience was so disappointing. We sold the shop in first week in September to new owners. I know they have changed the name since taking over obviously running their business differently. We are happy to say we still own and run the original Stunned Mullet at Cabarita Beach with our original recipes and menu.... More

Nothing better than good fish an chips but this was a disappointing meal. We had chips, Barra (battered and crumbed) and 4 Coconut Prawns. The chips were with Rosemary and Garlic salt, which made them taste like old socks. The fish was OK. The prawn flesh was brown/grey and overcooked so we gave the prawns to the dogs. Presentation very... More

Loved the food 5/5 for that. All that brings down my score is that one of the wait staff made a comment to one of our family members about her weight and that made her extremely uncomfortable eating there.

Picked up a serve of takeaway chips that were over cooked crunchy and tasted oily. Will not be going there for chips again.

We ate here two out of the three nights we stayed in Kingscliff. The old fashioned fish and chips was soooo good! The best chips ever and the rosemary and garlic salt really complemented the meal. The fish was King Island whiting, great batter and fresh fish. Byo no corkage..bargain! Great location too and also friendly polite staff! We will... More

We had fish and chips one night of our stay in Kingscliff, I have to say that the crumbed fish had to be the best I've ever eaten. My husband an I shared one peice (which was huge), but we wished we had more so delish. The salad we had with it was also devine I would go back in... More
