Berry has got very busy as people work from homes further from Sydney. But South on Albany only seats 12 and feels calm. The fixed price menu was glorious. Local produce features. Cauliflower soup with touches of local ham and nuts. Murray cod exquisitely pan...crisped. Matching wines from Orange and Two Figs closer by. The service was fast, smooth as silk, utterly friendly. We don’t go out much but this sets a high standard and hard to beat. Is that a reason to stay home, save up and go again?More

Definitely the best meal I have had, each course was perfection. I normally wouldn’t order duck as I am not keen on it but it was delicious. The pistachio parfait was absolutely divine! Could have eaten 2. Would love to go back again. Can’t recommend...highly enough and staff were amazingMore

Exemplary service, perfectly executed dishes with quality ingredients underpinning every element of every dish. It is such a treat to dine at South on Albany. I took my elderly mother (generally an unadventurous diner)for her birthday and she absolutely loved every course and is still...raving about dinner. The focus on the detail, the balance of flavours, these guys are consummate professionals. Magic. 🙏🏽More

I went here with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary and went with the adventurous approach of letting the chef/s decide what to put on the table for us and we were not disappointed. We were treated with a variety of delicious food -...small plates of a bit of everything so that you don't get bored with one big main dish and the opportunity to taste what the chefs there can do. We paid $85 a head for this, not including drinks, and I would say it was value for money for what they put on the table for us. Anyone going to the Southern Highlands regions MUST come here for dinner at least once!More

We had a late booking but the staff were so attentive and the food was truly superb. One of the best meals I have eaten for a while.
