Friendly, cozy place for a java and snacks. Also the best place around for a great breakfast - freshly cooked right on the spot. Customers are generally chatty too.

I was just here again and as always the staff are so welcoming, helpful and so so easy to talk to. We had the grilled veggie paninis made to perfection with goat cheese etc. and plentiful. The coffee and baked desserts are always a great treat. Stop by and don't walk past you will be missing a mouth watering meal.... More

My husband needed a coffee break during our self-guided car tour through the Lanark Valley & the Rideau River Valley. We stopped in Merrickville, our second visit in a week.. He got a coffee at the Village Bean. The staff were warm & welcoming. Then, we headed to the Downtowne Ice Cream Shop. After getting our dishes of gelato, we... More

Breakfast is served until 11:30 and it is made well...not greasy. Good choices of coffee and teas. Lunches are mainly soups and sandwiches. There's an outdoor seating area too. Free Wi fi is a nice touch.

Stopped by for some breakfast when visiting Merrickville. The breakfast sandwich was pre-made and warmed up in a microwave. The coffee shop in our hometown makes their version of this sandwich fresh each time, and is far superior.

This is a delightful little spot to grab either regular or fancy coffee, as well as reasonably-priced treats and light meals. Friendly, prompt service. Most recently, I enjoyed a cinnamon roll with my coffee, which the cashier thoughtfully offered to warm up for me. I make sure to stop here each time I'm in Merrickville. Recommended!
