Good menu with home cooked meals and delicious puddings. Very welcoming hosts. Allows dogs in part of pub. Open fire and lovely beer.

A very nice cozy pub. Bar staff very friendly. Didn’t have time for a meal but would certainly stop for a meal if ever in the area again.

We ate one lunch and one dinner at the New Inn during a recent visit to The Roseland Peninsula. On both occasions the service was excellent and the food to match - excellent fish and fresh side dishes.
As we were staying in the Right Round House B&B up the road we ate here a couple of times. Food and service was excellent on both occasions, you do need to book a table in the summer season but its well worth doing so.
We ate here whilst staying near Portscatho and the food was good value and the fish pie in particular was lovely. We were greeted by a lovely young lady behind the bar and the whole team working there were friendly and helpful.
We were staying nearby and visited for a drink, but got talking to locals, the publican and other visitors and stayed for supper. I stuck with ham, egg and chips (sorry), but my wife had the scallops with chilli and enjoyed it immensely. I'd happily...More
