We're regular at the rock Inn. Love the history of this fantastic Inn. Always go for our Sunday carvery. Never disappointed. Also been for a steak one evening. Awesome. Cornish meat. Excellent food, and chef very welcoming and talkative. 😀. Bar staff brilliant, and down to earth. We live down the road from the rock Inn, of which is a... More

Went along for a roast as a birthday treat, the landlord was very welcoming and showed us to our table. The pub is well looked after and very clean. We all had the carvery and it was a good selection of meat and vegetables, very tasty well worth a visit. Coffee was on the slow side but that was the... More

Popped in here on the off chance. It was right at the start of the lunch service (12.00) so easily got a table. Looks like reservations would be handy a bit later because it got busy from 13.00 onwards. Friendly, welcoming staff. The food was good - standard carvery offering but all tasted great, The rolled lamb in particular was... More

Horrible place will never go back the bar staff was so friendly and welcoming but the management was drunk and talking to the bar staff like utter rubbish to which they broke down Very unprofessional shouting at staff for no reason in public. Just remember Mike Astin the management useless manager very unprofessional

Most of us decided on a carvery at 9.95 each. Was a choice of meat including rare and well done beef. Not much veg choice although was cooked good not overcooked and sloppy, So was glad of that. Was told could of had a better roast at another place for £5. But I was happy with my food.

We haven't been here for four years when we went and the only options available for vegetarians was fish and staff not all that helpful. Being locals we had heard that it had new owners and new menu thought we would give it ago for lunch. And so glad we did we were greeted by a really friendly bar lady... More

Food was great and reasonable in price staff very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Ample parking children and dog friendly too. In Saturdays there's usually a band on which gets very busy.

I will preface this review by expressing my regret that such a review must be written. Very rarely do I visit an establishment that merits a single star review, however in this case it is absolutely necessary to draw attention to the amoral, despicable business practices of the Rock Pub. My family paid for my Grandfather's wake to be held... More
