Friendly landlady and staff. Very welcoming. Live bands every Saturday night to suit a mix of tastes. Good food particularly the Sunday roast.

Stopped in here on a Thursday for lunch and could not fault it. 2 of us had ham, egg and chips and another had a ciabata. All good and made even better with a dessert for an extra 5p!!! Will certainly be back.
Much better atmosphere than before but the beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. If they had better beer I would go back. Which is a shame as I live in the village. So still no good place here for a good piny
If the best review, is the shortest . . . Eat here. The tell me where you ate better :-) Consistent. Fresh. Homely.
