After having a wind swept walk on Crantock beach, it was time for lunch. Found this pub by accident on the way out of the village. Lovely traditional pub, welcomed by the member of staff in the bar. We sat down and ordered drinks from the bar. Nice well kept pint of Tribute and 1/2 a fosters. Fish and chips... More

Lovely location, lovely pub but its lacking in customers and ambiance. Valentines night and the place was empty bar one poor couple sat in a dull, miserable back end of the restaurant. Not even any music. Called for a drink but would not choose to eat from the menu as didn't find the choice that great. This place would be... More

Stopped in for Sunday lunch with the family. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing. Good selection of vegetables. Really flavoursome. Desserts were delicious. Would highly recommend.

Virtually everything you cuold wish for is here if you like the old fashioned approach. On both occasions I visited the place was virtually deserted. perhaps something to do with the pre-Christmas lull. There are live folk music sessions once a month on a Thursday. Nothing is exceptional here, yet everything for a quiet drink is there. It has a... More

This pub looks charming from the outside with whitewashed walls and a thatched roof. Inside, however, the décor and furnishings are rather battered and bruised. Still, don’t be put off by the rather tatty surroundings as what they do offer they do very well indeed. We visited on a Sunday night in early June at around 7.30pm. The place was... More

Just had to write about our local pub in Crantock again. Having retired here in 2015 we always take visiting friends and family here for an evening meal. Evelyn and Harry really are trying to up their game and the food really is now very good. there will usually be an excellent "Specials" menu in the main season. The kitchen will... More

Visited here on the first night of our weeks holiday with my parents and our doggie companion. We were staying very local to the pub, at Trevella Caravan Site, a short 5 minute drive from each other. We have dined here every time we have visited Cornwall on our holiday. The inn is very cosy and welcoming. I would suggest... More
