This is a great atmospheric pub in a wonderful old building....fortunately for us and the Inn's be able to pass health inspections the cobwebs are gone (they actually were here at one time---there's information about the place prior to it's present incarnation). You order at the main bar (as is usual in a pub) and the food was very good... More

Well, the booking was made early in November and a nice sounding lady confirmed my booking 4 people in the restaurant for December 3rd at 7pm. "That's all booked then my lovely" was the confirmation! When we arrived our table was in a dirty saloon bar where a few loud inebriated locals were using foul language. When I checked my... More

The family have been at the Pub for 45+ years and really understand customer service, cannot peaise... More

Disappointed by the menu, average pub grub. Changed since our last visit, food no where near as good. The barmaid was not very attentive- we had to keep pestering fit condiments etc. Would not bother again.

Just returned from a stay in Boscastle and ate at the Cobweb bar. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is very good value for money. There is also a pool table and dart board in the bar. Can get a bit noisy but has a good atmosphere.

Holiday'd in Cornwall this year and loved this pub so much had to visit more than once. It has a great atmosphere with bottles and storm lanterns hanging from the ceiling. No visible Cobwebs :) Affable bar staff and lovely food. No delay in service. As we left we noticed a lovely furnace outside to keep the smokers warm. Not... More

Had a great Sunday lunch with the family, the service was brilliant and the food was great. We hadn't booked but they still found us a table. I would recommend booking as it was very busy.

Description
If you want high quality Pub Grub...Great portion size and value for money then this is the place to go. We have tables in the bar areas and outside and a family room with books and pictures to colour for the kids. We have a restaurant area where service is by waitress and the menu is as the down stairs but the ambiance differs from the bar areas for those wanting the quality of our food with that extra special service. We have live music on Saturday nights therefore all tables are removed from the main bar area leaving seating in the bottom bar and family area. This is always a busy night so booking for a meal is always necessary. The music starts at 9.30Pm till 12.30Ish and can be view on our web page. We also have many events which are well worth a visit always with great entertainment and always for a deserving cause.
