This was our first time and we had a takeaway tonight. The menu is extensive and staff friendly. BUT it’s all about the food….and this is definitely the best Indian takeaway we have had in a very long time.

Very warm welcome from the friendly staff at this lovely little restaurant. I love balti dishes and the lamb balti was the most flavoursome and tender that I’ve ever had. We were so impressed with the place that we came back 4 days later with...our friends for another treat. They were likewise impressed. We were going to eat there on Monday too, but unfortunately they don’t open that that of the week. We loved Stourport on Severn and will definitely be returning there again soon and we’ll definitely be revisiting Namaste. Friendly, welcoming, hospitable and fantastic food. Highly recommended.More
We thought the food was excellent value and really good compared to our local restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly. Just wish we lived nearer.
Couldn’t fault the food apart from being rushed out of the restaurant, stood there watching with there coat and bag on the chair, never got offered a second drink or a dessert. Slapped a bill on the table before we had finished eating and cleared...up the table while my mate was still eating, turned the music off and Christmas lights(while still eating) felt really uncomfortable and not welcome at all. Wish I would have said something more at the time but didn’t. If we was so limited on time then they should have said no we are closing soon 😠 Not very professional at all won’t be spending my money in there again.More
Food was lovely! Can't say much for the service! Everything very rushed. Asked if food was okay even though we did not get chance to serve onto our plates! Not offered any drinks after first order. Constantly being watched. Plates cleared before other had finished....No option of the desert menu, was told they had nothing left, (on a wednesday night? just the bill slapped on the table whilst still eating. When voicing that we felt under pressure to hurry, staff just sniggered and said no. Was told we were holding them up from going home. What happened to 5* hospitality. Would not return for the pure fact of the rudeness recieved by staff members. Not proffesional at all!More
Small car park, poppadoms were stale. However they were quickly replaced and the baltis were excellent and hot. Good service, drinks Good, price Good, so overall recommended.
Found this restaurant on google and it showed the highest rating. We only had a takeaway to top up a meal we had already cooked. We wanted chicken tikka but got 5 pieces and this was supposed to have been a main course. Aubergines were...undercooked so we’re quite tough. Prawn Purée was not too bad but a bit too much cumin for me. Not a great experience, maybe just caught them on a bad day.More
Food was fabulous and very cheap, very friendly service. I can honestly say that it's the best value curry we have ever had anywhere in the world. So good we went twice in two days! Highly recommended! Liz and Mo
We met up with friends who live in Stourport on Severn and they suggested an Indian. We were not disappointed at all. The portion sizes were just right and the staff were friendly. We were there on a Thursday night and it was quiet. The...Indian-style Scotch egg as a starter was very tasty. Definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone visiting the town.More
I think that this is my 3rd or 4th visit but without doubt the worst. Previous visits have been good, hence our visit tonight. Where should I start, poppadoms tasted as if they had been made 24 hours earlier, they were quite soft. When the...main courses arrived the waiter dropped the Nan bread. To be fair, the 3 curries we had were quite good but the pilau rice bore no resemblance to any pilau rice we had ever eaten previously, none of the traditional ingredients had been used, totally bland, did nothing for the meal, which would have been improved by its omission. I’m convinced that it was a plain basmati rice, nothing more. I found the staff either argumentative or disinterested. Had this been my first visit it would have been my last. Now I’m wondering if I need to give them another chance but I’m seriously coming down on the side of not doing so as we were so disappointed. There are better local take always but it’s nice to go out now it’s possible.More
