We had a nice meal here. The staff were very good a most of the food was good. We had both ordered steaks but mine came well done when I asked for it as medium. I didn't want to wait for a new one so they gave me a free drink. The baileys creme brûlée was really good!! The only... More

Nice restaurant with good 3 course dinner set. Reasonable price. Already really full after 2 courses but just cannot resist the dessert which was real big. Generally a very nice dinning experience.

I imagine the main users of this place are business travellers and those looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Stonehenge. Food pretty decent and staff very knowledgeable about the drinks they serve. Overall nice visit with colleagues, once for dinner and once for coffees after a meeting, I'm sure there'll be plenty more visits.

Great Networking lunch. Staff were very friendly and food was great. Good for locals but perfect for people travelling West from London.

With colleagues we eat at the hotel and the food was good, minimal menu but enough to choose from and monthly special was a good choice with a chicken pie which was very good, for a hotel the bill was reasonable, have eaten a few times here now and always good

We opted for a special with a small steak, fries, and drink. The steak was good, but it was tiny. Service was okay.

I meet colleagues here from time to time. It is an excellent Rendezvous with good parking, plenty of space with comfortable seating, and a good range of coffee and cakes. The staff are excellent and are good at leaving you alone in privacy but to respond very well when needed. When we were there through the morning there were at... More

My husband & i visited the Solstice Bar & Grill recently & were most impressed. We booked via the Open Table/Trip Advisor app - there were no issues with booking or with staff greeting us upon arrival. The restaurant is nicely laid out, with nice lighting (not too bright, not too dark!) & is located on the ground floor of... More

The food has always been very good when we come here, the staff are also very kind and are happy to move you if you ask. This mainly happens when you feel cold near the widows. Its always quite cold in here so suggest you wear a jumper or thin coat to get you by. However in summer i would... More

Think Salisbury and youll think Solstice not the mid-summer phenomenon beloved of druids but the super chic Bar and Grill at Amesburys uber-modern Holiday Inn hotel. Situated only moments from the world famous site of Stonehenge, Solstice is glamorously modern, its sleek interior anything but pre-historic. One wall is shot through with a blaze of glass, providing countryside views in the day and inky black reflections at night, while the rest of the room is bright and spacious, furnished in monochrome and lit by low-hanging chrome lamps. Despite its futuristic styling the atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and welcoming, thanks in no small part to the professional and friendly staff who ensure your every need is met during your visit, be it a swift lunch or a leisurely dinner. From the elegance and ease of a continental style croissant and cappuccino in the morning to the hearty modern European mains of evening dinners and the comforting familiarity of burgers and steaks, plus the well-stocked bar with its excellent wine list and numerous beers, Solstice is a venue for any occasion.
