We only stopped here for a drink before our dinner reservations elsewhere. The happy hour menu for drinks and munchies was impressive! The bartenders were making some great looking drinks and the apps I saw were very tempting! I'd love to come back for dinner. The atmosphere was very cool.

My husband and I visited Cafe Fresco after spending time in the Whitaker Center. It was a short walk to the Cafe. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I had high expectations. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. But I thought the atmosphere was dark and uninviting. We walked to the back and ordered our food, which... More

Cafe Fresco offers a good assortment of salads and sandwiches for lunch, and it is relatively quick. It was the perfect lunch spot for two women on a quick business lunch break. The food is not spectacular, but it is a solid spot.

This Asian inspired restaurant is unexpected from beginning to end. The decor is very "New York chic" - it didn't look like our kind of place, three generations of family, including kids. I'm glad we trusted the reviews. Menu options are diverse enough for everyone. My daughter had cheese pizza, which she rated as "tres excellent". My son had the... More

I ordered the Greek salad with grilled salmon, which was great. Others in my group ordered sandwiches, which they seemed to enjoy. Food comes up quick. Free drink refills.

Looking for somewhere to eat near our hotel and went in here as it looked interesting: we were not dissapointed. The food has a strong Asian influence but with a twist. Tried the delicious panko crusted pork steak with carbonara rissotto, really good. Deserts are also unusual (had banana and walnut spring rolls with a mascapone and vanilla ice cream... More

Who said you can only go out on Sunday for brunch? Very nice, unique choices and it was hard to choose. I had the breakfast baguette with chorizo, arugula, egg, tomatoes and hollandaise sauce. Hubby enjoyed a very interesting and delicious; an omelette that looked like a rice bowl. Very good mimosas, his was a regular with mint and mine... More

I've been there twice, both alone and with my husband. They have a lot of wonderful small plates to share. I especially loved the mushroom cappuccino!

Thank you so much for your review of our appetizers and small plates. We are running our summer menu right now, so we have temporarily removed the mushroom cappuccino. We know it is a favorite of many of our guests, and we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed it. It is definitely a contender to return this fall. In the... More

Recently I was in Harrisburg for a 5 day meeting. On this particular trip, my wife and daughter came along for the ride. Each day, as my schedule would permit, we would try a different restaurant within walking distance of the State Capital, and on this visit, we went to Cafe Fresco for breakfast. Cafe Fresco is probably better known... More
