Love this place, we had our wedding reception here and come back every year for our anniversary. Love the elegant atmosphere and the food is exquisite. Pricey but worth it.

Everybody has place that they go to for special occasions, and that place for us is the William Penn when we are looking to treat ourselves. Their snapper soup is the best in the entire world. For me they excel with their salmon entrees and...More
If you are looking for a special night out and can go from 5:00 to 6:30, you should try this restaurant. Great service, atmosphere and pricing are great. Of course, the food is great too.
The waiters wear black tuxedos, There are fine linens and china. The bread bowl contains banana nut bread among others. And the food is pretty good, though not inexpensive. Upstairs there are private rooms where you can have a small dinner party in a cozy...More

Ended up at William Penn Inn as a result of a gift certificate and have added to the list of favorite places to dine. The atmosphere is cordial but not overly formal. Received a nice desert to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Very enjoyable.
Thank your for visiting us! Anniversaries are always special and we appreciate your review.

One of the more fancy places I've ever been to! We had a big family dinner here. It was a cool, historic building, great wait-staff and amazing food!
By far, this is the classiest restaurant in the North Penn area. Eat in the Commonwealth Club on the second floor and you will be treated with exquisite service while enjoying a first class meal.
