I'm kind of a breakfast snob, been ordering the same combo for many years. I want my eggs 'over easy', not broken yolk or overcooked. LPD serves it up perfectly! This place didn't let me down 20 years ago, and still doesn't today!

They claim to be vegetarian friendly. Definitely not. This is a typical greasy spoon "dinor". If that is what you desire, this is the place.

In response to your review.....we have many meat free - vegetarian options for both breakfast and lunch that were available. Upon request, we try to accommodate special dietary requests so not sure if you discussed this with your server. We are also more than a greasy spoon Dinor with many great options for both breakfast and lunch which are typical... More

After having to stop at a gas station to ask for directions from downtown Erie, Lawrence Park Dinor was a great find! My husband got the Reuben and I got the Gyro, and we shared the Greek Fries. Everything was a winner. BUT...the best part was dessert. Homemade Coconut Cream Pie and a Grilled Cinnamon Roll. Both were awesome!

Our family was driving through Erie on our way to visit family. Even though the Dinor is a bit out of the way, the food and drinks are delicious. The decor is classic sarcasm. Reading the signs kept my middle schoolers occupied while we waited for our order. I loved the Greek burger and chocolate milk shake in an old... More

Had a family breakfast here, good service and good food. Be warned though, when the pancakes say fluffy, they are FLUFFY AND HUGE!

Great specialty burgers, homemade soups and pies (peanut butter, OMG) make this place a must. Make sure to order the Greek sauce fries, a local specialty similiar to chili fries. Our waitress was very outgoing and talked to us in her down time. It was a memorable experience. Also, a great time to show is 11am to 12, when they... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The dinor's high rating drew me in. It is not rated so well because it's the most creative culinary experience you can have in Erie. I feel the rating reflects the nostalgic and historic atmosphere of an old dinor, the quality of totally appropriate food, and the very warm and genuine staff. The place... More

We loved the historical facts on the park diner. Everyone was very nice. Limited seating but we sat at the bar. The food was good but we loved the cinnamon roll. It was outstanding. We would love to return.
