Every time we visit we get exactly what we ask for. Great brews, nice veggie options and the bonus of tasteful live music occasionally.

The menu is varied. The burgers are great. The beef and some other ingredients are locally sourced. Portions are large and well presented. Most things come with a side of tortilla chips and warm beer cheese. Yum. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I always have one of their artisan beers when I go there. There is always... More

I live down the street so it is a great place to grab dinner and a beer with friends! The deviled eggs are a great starter; the sandwiches and burgers are great as well! I'm an IPA drinker, the overbite and underbite IPAs are a safe bet! The Belgian Blonde is also delish!

Conveniently located a couple of miles off I 80, the chef brings surprising originality and exceptional taste to a pub cuisine. It is also a micro brewery. Great service. We will make this a destination restaurant on future trips along I 80. This chef is exceptional.

Looking for a place to eat seen this one on trip advisor and said let's give it a try. Their hamburgers was out of this world. Who would have thought of putting tortilla chips with burgers, but they went great together. Their own brewed beers was okay. A lot of people seemed to enjoy them however it was not our... More

Great beer, great vibe, good food. My only disappointment is the early closing time on the weekends.

I've been here on multiple occasions and plan to return. This resaurant is chicken friendly (non caged, no GMO) and has selections for those who cant or choose not to injest gluten. They're also local business friendly and buy locally. I no longer drink alchohol but I do recall enjoying a good beer here back in the day. And notice... More

We enjoyed this so much for dinner, I returned the next day for lunch by myself. The menu has a good selection of foods and beers. The food is locally procured and the OF beers are brewed on site. We were not there after dark but I bet it is the place to be in Danville. The service was very... More

Recently visiting old haunts and happy to say that Old Forge is better than ever. Of course, they still have some of the best brews in the area and their Plowshare porter is one of the best I have had anywhere. Its a fun comfortable atmosphere for friends and family in Danville. We ordered their build your own burgers ...which... More

Stayed in the area on our way to a football game. Scanned TripAdvisor for a place for dinner. This place is high on TripAdvisor and worth it. Brewery focus (good beer) but also good food and service. Place was busy with all types of folks (families, couples, groups). Even if you passing through on Interstate 80 it is worth the... More

Old Forge Brewing Company is a fun, casual, comfortable brewpub specializing in healthy pub fare and fresh brewed beer. Our country was built on the skills and labor of old-world artisanal craftsmen. Woodworkers, carpenters, stonemasons, ironworkers, blacksmiths, tileworkers, and many others came here and employed the knowledge and skills of their craft in building their farms, homes, and towns.Nowadays, it is so easy and convenient to purchase generic products from big-box stores, that we sometimes neglect to appreciate the uniqueness and quality of a hand-crafted product. At Old Forge Brewing Company, we strive to honor personal craftsmanship. Our hand-crafted beer is made in small batches to ensure quality and peak freshness, while the healthy and delicious menu has ingredients sourced from local farms and markets wherever possible. Take the time to notice our bar, furniture, and fixtures which were all handcrafted by local wood and metal worker Keith Kocher (Lightstreet Custom Woodworking). Check out our unique tap handles carved and forged by local artist/sculptor J. Mark Irwin (Irwin Sculpture Studio), and our plates, bowls, and beer mugs, all hand-made by local potter Mike Hart (M. Hart Pottery). We welcome you to stop by and visit us on Mill Street in downtown Danville. Have a bite to eat, sip a fresh pint of beer, and enjoy the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Leave your troubles on the doorstep and let us take care of the rest.
