Seriously over-rated by locals! I've lived here 20 years and am yet to figure out the romance Carlisle has with this place. It's just ok Ice Cream. Brusters, Leos, even Ritas are better.

The hand-dipped custard is unequaled. I previously thought The Meadows franchise had the corner on frozen custard, but am glad a Carlisle local revealed the amazing products at Massey's. The fat content and sugar content but be through the roof, but who cares!

This truly is homemade. Flavor change so it is worth going often to try something new. Well worth the trip to Carlisle. Fresh made waffle cones are a plus

Visited on a Friday night in August. Scooped ice cream was great and service was quick. Prices are expensive.

Friendly waitstaff and helpfull. Great custard. Reminds me of my youth. Not far off the highway and open late in the summer.

I had been a huge fan of Massey's for many years, but ever since they've been under new ownership things just don't seem to be the quality they used to be. And the service is less than friendly. It's always been a younger crowd working there, but it used to be a friendly younger crowd. Whatever you do, DO NOT... More

This is the place for perfect old school soft serve. My husband loved it so much he went back for seconds.

I have tried other places but nothing beats Masseys frozen custard, I would never go anywhere else. It just doesn't compare! Love Masseys

If I could stop here every day, I would. I have tried several different things (hand-dipped, soft-serve, and milk shakes). They are each my "favorite". The only negative thing I have to say is that the menu sign is a little hard to read and the "flow" for ordering is a little awkward. Patrons come in from both doors, and... More

I've been going to Massey's since I was a kid. The chocolate/vanilla custard twist is always a favorite but a chocolate malt always makes my day! If you're traveling through Carlisle, PA....you cannot go wrong with an ice cream treat from Massey's!!
