Food is fair but not really great. The wait staff are all local and struggle to give upscale service. Just no work force to draw from here. ok but... More

Stopped here for lunch on our trip across the PA turnpike. Lunch was excellent. We both had the Jean Bonnet salad with their house dressing. It was fresh and the dressing was great. It is a french dressing with beets/hard boiled eggs and cheese in it. Might not sound good to some but it really was good. The place is... More

Great meal, probably not changed much in a 100 years with people simply drinking beer with friends at the bar, travelers stopping in on the road for a bite and vacationers eating there for an evening out. Typical crossroads tavern/dining establishment. A real slice of Americana.

We stopped here on our way to Western PA to see Fallingwater. Good bar, lots of craft beers on tap. Food was good and not expensive. All the food is prepared fresh, so some items not available. Little store outside was a cute gift shop of handmade items. Really enjoyed lunch!

Traveling down Route 30 in Bedford Pa. you will encounter a stone tavern with porches called the Jean Bonnet Tavern. This eighteenth century tavern is still in business serving up the best in lunch and dinner. I visited during lunch and got the turkey and cheese sandwich...pilled high with lettuce and tomato. Hand cut fries. We got the spinach and... More

We took my mother here for her 84th birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was great. We had the crab and shrimp appetizer which was so good, the soup was also very good. For dinner I had the steak and crabcake, The steak was done perfectly and was delish, it was served with fresh green beans which were also... More

The food was great and Staff was very accommodating! We were traveling from the Chadds Ford area of Pennsylvania and it was the perfect stop on the way to the Flight 93 Memorial. Please be sure to check out their website and menu as I am sure you will find something to suit your taste.
