Although the Web says they open at 7 it is really 8. Fun decor and landscape. Good comfort food. Worth a stop.

When the French onion soup is available, it should not be missed. Very nice trout, as well. The main attraction, however is the construction of the dining hall, itself, featuring an enormous tree trunk as the main ridge beam rafter supporting other massive logs free span in a Paul Bunyan-style of an uber log cabin. Logging kitsch abounds down to... More

This is a great place for old fashion comfort food, done well. The interior construction is actual Log construction with a rich history making for mealtime conversation. The food comes in large portions and is very tasty.

We have driven by Camp 18 for years and finally stopped for an early dinner on the way home from Portland. It looks like a huge log cabin from outside. Inside, it is a huge log cabin. Plenty of logging equipment and photos through out. Service is friendly, food is very good, and prices are reasonable. We even met the... More

This was a great stop. Wonderful food and staff was friendly. The entire grounds are very cool. We were here in late October and the salmon were spawning up river in the creek behind the restaurant/lodge. The entire museum, shop and complex is also wonderful!

We decided to pull over on the way to the coast as we were hungry and the placed looked interesting. What you see from the road is a large log cabin with a bunch of forestry equipment around. Once we got inside, it was a spectacular space. Very rustic with lots of light. However, there is a large lineup of... More

We come drive to the coast and have lunch or dinner at this place about every 5 years. I always get fried razor clams and my husband always gets something else. He is sorry he doesn't get what I get and this time he did and he loved it. The best anywhere!

We ate dinner at Camp 18 in Sept. 2016. Our friends from Portland took us there and they certainly picked the right place. The parking lot of the building has many old logging machines & equipment from the early 19th century. The restaurant has many pieces of logging equipment scattered throughout. The food was great and service was superb. My... More
