This is a common stopping spot for folks coming from Portland to the Oregon Coast. Meals are down home cooking and lots of it. The Restaurant is one of the largest log strtuctures around and the fireplace is always lit. You can sit and watch the birdies eat outside. Kids and old folks love it. Breakfast is a favorite.

A beautiful 30 minute drive from Seaside, Camp 18 offers cheap, plentiful meals in a fun atmosphere. The grounds and restaurant itself are charming, it's a great distraction from the coast and nice side stop from Seaside. From beachside to snow in 30 minutes, it's easy to forget how close to the coastline you are. Look hard enough and you'll... More

Come hungry, leave when you are ready to burst. Word of advice, especially for breakfast. Order one meal and an extra plate. Both of you will not eat all of it.

Camp 18 is an eye catching restaurant about 20 miles outside of Cannon Beach. The restaurant itself is a huge log cabin building surrounded by antique logging equipment, train cars and fun wood carvings of bears, eagles and Sasquatchs'. You may walk around the exterior and even to the small creek/river that passes by the back of the property. There... More

We live 20 miles away and decided to try Camp18 for dinner. The grounds are well kept with plenty of parking. During better weather make it a point to wander around the grounds to look at the large antique logging equipment parked in the yard. The large log constructed building is awesome and gives you the lodge atmosphere. The theme... More

We had a late lunch while waiting for a flipped propane tanker to be removed so the highway could be re-opened. The had a bowl of the soup of the day, turkey vegetable with orzo with bread, which was really good. The road wasn't oped yet so I had the strawberry rhubarb cobbler warmed up with a scoop of vanilla... More

When the French onion soup is available, it should not be missed. Very nice trout, as well. The main attraction, however is the construction of the dining hall, itself, featuring an enormous tree trunk as the main ridge beam rafter supporting other massive logs free span in a Paul Bunyan-style of an uber log cabin. Logging kitsch abounds down to... More
