We came in late in their day so anticipated they might be low on some things as a lot of barbecue places tend to be toward the end of the day. We were able to get everything we asked for though and it was all good. We had ribs, bbq tri-tip and shrimp, along with chowder, beans and (less successful... More

Small place with excellent food and service. Not much in the way of atmosphere but that was made up for by VERY friendly waitress. Only drawback I can find was the parking situation. We dined in mid-afternoon so it wasn't busy but at lunch or dinner parking could be a real problem as there are very few spaces available. The... More

Picked up dinner to go while we were in town for the weekend & the burgers were really good, I don't recommend the fish & chips though, the 3 piece order wasn't very good for the price(11.95), 3 very small pieces of fish & they weren't even very tasty, probably won't go there again.

We had lunch at the Grey Whale. It's a smaller place and not easily picked out, but the food was awesome. We got there right as they opened and didn't wait long for the amazing food. We ordered the smoked tri-tip and the pulled pork. Both were great and very moist. With meat prices being so high, the food seemed... More

My husband and I stopped by in late September for an early dinner. We were greeted by a very sweet waitress ( Paula) and she took our orders promptly. We ordered the meal for two, which included ribs, tri tip, pulled pork, and a double order of clam chowder, and a double order of fries. The restaurant is small, and... More

This place probably won't satisfy the hard-core BBQ types that swear by their individual preferences, but anyone just looking for a good meal will be happy. Food is fresh, people are nice, and the sauce is plentiful (multiple sauces are available for you to choose from). I would recommend it.

We stopped for lunch because they had a sign out front about their fish & chips and clam chowder. Unfortunately they were out of clam chowder but the fish and chips made up for the lack of chowder. Honestly about the best we have had. Our darling waitress was pleasant and personable. We were happy to have discovered this cute... More

We got the pulled pork on sliders and the beef on a hoagie. The pork was quite good. Tender, good flavor. The beef on the other hand was somehow undercooked - it had more a prime rib color and consistency than BBQ - and as a result the fat hadn't completely broken down. The sauces, all three we were served,... More

The pulled pork was amazingly good and the amount of food was awesome for the price. Waitress was very nice and outgoing. Food was ready fast and was very good portions. We will visit again!
