Stopped for a drink and a snack. Wine was $8 for an A to Z Pinot. Fries were good. Someone in our group had a pastrami and liked it. Service was okay. Music was a bit loud but it is a bar.

If you like dark, kind of grubby, interiors with loud music in the Central Eastside, this is the place for you. If you don't, you still might like it because it also has a great happy hour menu, good burgers, and very friendly staff. Just don't be put off by the neighborhood or the looks of this place!
I haven't tried their other sandwiches , always in a mood for their burger when I come here. (They do mix the meat with something, so the girl I brought here refused to eat here). They usually have a dark beer, I had water the last time I was here.
Stopped here for lunch with the family, down the street were we stayed, in town fro a wedding, great Portland Bar, great burger, sisters said was great and the wife and son had the chicken things and they were damn good too, nice beers as well, go eat.
Just dropped in for some drinks and ended up dining. Chris, the bartender was so accomadating and helpful to find us seating and suggest food and drinks. Our slow bar burgers and steak frites were perfect and as good as so many of the fine restaurant s in Portland. Its been sometime since we have been here, but we will... More
The coolest bar/foodie haunt in Portland. The food is an epicurean delight. The atmosphere metal debonair. Service was expedient and prompt. Great beer selection for the beer snob. Just a great vibe and decor to match. Highly recommended.
I've been here a couple times and I've yet to be disappointed. The happy hour is fantastic, with inexpensive burgers, fries, salads and whatnot that are high quality, delicious and served with an obvious attention to detail. Cocktails are very nice too. The space itself is dark, with several super-high backed booths that are big enough for 6 or maybe... More
Raves about the Slowburger were not wasted on us. We made tracks there one day, but actually asked for take-out because we were in a hurry. The staff were great, really friendly and fun. The bar itself is relatively unremarkable from the outside, small with comfy booths and a bar inside. On a Friday mid-afternoon, the place was half full... More
Went on a Sunday evening around 6:30. We were a party of 3 and found a table right away. Place was clean, music on, but not too loud. I suggest a table at the back or outside if you want to have a conversation. Food was great-we had fries, salads and sandwiches and all were terrific! Really enjoyed the southern... More
I hadn't been here in a couple of years so when I had friends come in from Houston on a Friday afternoon I thought this would be a great place to start their trip! It did not disappoint! We had: hh burger, stinky fries with cheese, southern fry, olives, ceviche & wedge salad. All the flavors were wonderful, food definitely... More
