One of my favorite places downtown to meet someone for breakfast. Although I've usually done it for a work breakfast it would be great place to go as a tourist as well. The pancakes are particularly good

Mother's has a nice menu of food that is comfortable and an ambiance that is social and friendly. A good place to eat in the downtown area for brunch or breakfast.

I always love going downtown to eat at Mother's Bistro & Bar. I have never had a bad meal there regardless of time of day or how busy they are. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Just a heads up........don't be surprised if you get...More

Mother's is great for brunch but they get really busy. The food is quite good but with how long you have to wait you might want to consider going elsewhere.

Was very happy that the staff seated our large group at two tables. It was very crowded New Year's Eve Sunday for breakfast. We appreciated their efficiency, great service by Zach, wonderful food. They should wear pajamas every day!

I was here in late November with several work colleagues for a working breakfast. What a wonderful spot. Eclectic art work, fun décor and great food. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast.

Our experience at Mothers was really poor. We expected a lot more, because we found it through trip advisor as the number 8th in 3000 restaurants. Service was in between poor and good. We ordered liver pathe, and it was bland with litle lumps. Ceasar's salad was...More

The food there is amazing! Pricy but not too much so. Always a long wait but I would wait again. Always check out there specials. The Italian frittata was outstanding!

Expect it to be a busy place, even on a weekday. They offer limited reservations if you call the restaurant directly: 503-464-1122. Note they do not take reservations for weekend brunch if you call the same day.
