We decided to try out this little restaurant. It was surprising large inside. We were seated quickly and the waiter was prompt at taking our order. Tried the tres Mexican and the pork carnitas. Both were served hot with beans rice and tortilla. Tres Mexican had the red Colorado chili with pork, chili verde and chile rellano. Very Good flavors... More

Yummy Mexican American food. Not fancy outside, cute inside. Friendly staff. They refilled our salsa with a salsa picture :) Large serving size. My fav was the Tostada.

We went to celebrate a birthday, a party of ten. The drinks were large, but not cheap $$$, we had to constantly find a server to get more chips and salsa and when one of the kids spilled their water I had to run and try to get a towel and by the time anyone arrived we cleaned it with... More

Chips didn't taste freshly made, but salsa did. We had 4 different meals and all were tasty and surprisingly "authentic" but a little "modern mex" for my taste--I prefer "traditional" with Mexican food. All in all very good, but a little pricey for what we had.

We have eaten at the Barbur location every week for several years and the food is fine, cheap Mexican food. The staff has always been fine. Last night I went with my 3 kids and we left and then I immediately realized within 5 minutes my kids had left my Iphone on the table. We went back and it had... More

We came as a group of six and waited forever for our food and drink to be delivered. When we finally got our food it looked like it had been microwaved. My plate was not what I ordered, but close enough and we had wasted so much time so I just ate it and got out of there. Do not... More

This was my favorite restaurant when first introduced to me by friends around 2005/2006. I would literally travel an hour for their arroz con pollo and a great margarita. Flash forward to 2013 and things have unfortunately changed considerably. The bartender, while pleasant, did not understand my order for a margarita due to a language barrier. The rest of the... My husband and I enjoyed a dinner here. My husband had a very hearty chicken soup, which he loved. And I had the chicken quesidillas. I would have preferred a little more crisp on the tortilla but otherwise it was delicious.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the East Portland area. It is somewhat out of the way, out SE Powell Avenue to about 160th, in a little shopping area near to a Bi-Mart. The food is better than average, the restaurant clean and comfortable, eat in the bar to watch a football game, or in the main well decorated... More

My husband and I were in the mood for mexican food last night but didn't know where to go that was near us to we took a gamble on this place thinking how hard is it to do mexican food (and not traditional, i'm talking beans and rice american style mexican food)...I was soooooo wrong. I had the Burrito Costeno... More
