A friend who lives in Portland took me to Oba, one of her favorite places, while I was visiting. We definitely enjoyed the signature guac that they make at your table. The flash-fried veggies (spinach, green beans, etc.) were my favorite. Cocktails were also really...More

We stopped here for Happy Hour, a quick bite, on July 4th. Much quieter than we expected but the whole town was quiet that day. Tapas were great! There were 4 of us and we shared many. Table side guacamole was delicious!

Went there yesterday for Happy Hour. The mojitos are only $5 and darn good. The appetizers are full of wonderful flavors. We also had a spicy martini that was so good I had to have another. Definitely go back.

This is a large restaurant and the first table we were seated at was noisy beyond belief. Apparently our faces gave us away and the hostess reseated us immediately. Our booth was much quieter. Great food and service. Tableside guac is a must!

Had a "date night" dinner with my partner at Oba last night. It was fantastic! We started with spicy caipirinhas accompanied by queso fundido. We then each had an Oba Caesar salad. I had the NY strip steak and my partner the mahi mahi for...More

Like Sheryl below, we usually hit Oba's bar for dinner. The dining room menu is available there, but the real value and fun menu is the happy hour which generously runs til 6:30pm in the early eve. With most HH items under $10, you can...More
