We are traveling and back in Portland. We went to Broder on our last visit and couldn't wait to return. They didn't disappoint. Food and service were excellent. A must visit for anyone looking for a place to have breakfast or brunch.

Fantastic breakfast at Broder. Friendly staff, clean facilities, great food. This place is small and busy. Don't be in hurry to get in and out. Note that there is no place inside to wait. Limited neighborhood parking.

I went here with some old Army Buddies. I make Ebelskivers myself, so it was good to talk with them about how they make theirs. I had the soup special, which was very good. The coffee was also very good as well. I'll go back when I am in town. Traditional European food is always hard to find in Oregon.

I went there with my family. There were full of people having lunch already. I guess most of them looked like local people. I ordered some food which was a waiter recommended, and all of them was delicious. Thank you for the waiter's selections!!

I walked in the doors alone at 8am as they opened after a night of immoderation. I was greeted by a smiling waitress and chef and staring at a beautifully bubbling skillet full of "lost eggs" soon afterwards. Delicious ingredients without much grease or cream; was a perfect start to a day of traveling. Highly recommended.

We were pretty excited after Christmas to go to Broder, since its usually extremely crowded with tourists. We live in the area and remembered how good it was. Upon entry the person whom greeted us seemed kinda rude, directing us to go outside to sign up on the waitlist and wait in the cold. I mean, I get it that... More

Broder has 3 locations in Portland and is only open from 8am to 3pm so plan carefully, should you go on a weekend be prepared to wait in a very long line, but it's worth it. Great Swedish Bords, Gravlax, aebleskiver, great coffee, Swedish meatballs (the sauce is great) and their potatoes..... WOW. Good value, nice place, amazing food

This place is always busy, for a reason...its great. My only wish is that they had a smaller appetizer size Abelskivers available instead of a $10 full breakfast plate. Sooooo good though. Their Bord's are seasonal and hit the mark every time. The trout dishes are amazing. Basically just go check them out, and them check them out again, and... More

I had been looking forward to trying out this place ever since I read about it about a year ago. We went for breakfast about a week ago, but frankly we're disappointed. The menu looked interesting but the food didn't really live up to previous reviews , and the service that day was poor. The smoked trout hash I ordered... More

In the Clinton neighborhood. We ventured out of downtown for this early morning treat before our return to the four corners of the country. Yelp reviews are justifiably phenomenal and spoke well of Broder’s ability to transform smoked trout and salmon into breakfast bounty. Get the Swedish hash with small cubed potatoes topped with two baked eggs, pickled beets and... More
